Historical Pastime or a New Game of the History of England from the Conquest to the Accession of George the Third, Published by Harris and Wallis, London, Dec 1st 1803, printed and hand coloured linen backed game with one hundred and fifty-eight spiralling circular places ending in the centre with George III (generally fair condition, some curling of paper to section edges) 20” (51cm) wide x 22 ¼” (56.5cm) high.
The Game Book of a gentleman, Partick Buchan-Hepburn (1901-1974) later 1st Baron Hailes, dating from 1919, a part completed handwritten volume recording Scottish shoot locations - Milton Park, Smeaton-Hepburn, Wellwood, Didlington, Broomhall, Colstoun, Humbrie House etc, recorded guns recorded include Lord Charles Kennedy, Sir William Baird, Hon. An Impressively detailed 1930s silvered tennis figurine of a gentleman about to play a forehand shot,he holds an unusual racket with fine mesh stringing, in that it is engineered so that it screws onto the remainder of the handle already held by him, the detail is impressive and includes his shoe laces, belt buckle and even his moustache, it is mounted upon a circular ebonised base, professional almost undetected repair to the location where his head is attached to his collar, 27cm. high; sold together with a Victorian silk-lined leather book cover (21 by 14cm.) which is mounted with a brass band featuring an early lawn tennis scene of a mixed doubles match, the cover has a carrying handle attached and an integral page marker, it contains a copy of Suzanne Lenglen' s book, Lawn Tennis Game of Nations (2)

Thomas Low's brown Scotland v England Junior International Cap 1896,inscribed S v E, 1896This game was played at Perry Bar, Birmingham. Scotland won the match 4-1, but some reports have it at 4-0. Ten of the Scots team stepped up to the seniors. The team was William Muir (GK) Glenbuck Athletic and Hearts, J. Johnstone Kilmarnock Shawbank and Abercorn capt., P. Murphy Ashfield and Hibs, R. Muir Kilmarnock Deanpark and Notts County, T. Ross Crown Athletic and Hamilton Accies, T. Allison Strathclyde and New Brighton Tower, Thomas Low Parkhead and Rangers, Bobby Walker Dalry Primrose and Hearts (29 Scottish full international caps, 8 goals), J Sharp Broxburn Athletic and Hearts, Morgan Longriggend Wanderers and Liverpool & J. McGill Perthshire. The scorers were J. McGill (3) and Low.
An unusual award of a cap by the Scottish Football League to Thomas Pollock Low of Glasgow Rangers for the representative match v The Football League 1896-97,the usual presentation for an inter-League match being a medal, but at this period evidently a cap, the dark blue cap with Rampant Lion crest and inscribed S.F.L., S v E, 1896-7Thomas Low's Scottish Football League shirt badge for this match is offered as the following lot. This game represented the Scots first win over the English League since the contests began in 1892. The match was played at Ibrox 24th April 1897 and the Scottish League won 3-0, with Low scoring the opening goal.
A very fine quality Austrian silver cigarette case with enamel decoration of a football match being a presentation to the England international Edgar Chadwick in 1900,the reverse inscribed PRESENTED TO MR EDGAR CHADWICK AS A MEMENTO OF FRIENDSHIP, GRATITUDE AND HIGH ESTEEM, FROM THE DEUTSCHER FUSSBALLCLUB, MAY 1900, PRAGUE, Austrian .900 silver mark, 8 by 6.5cm., in original fitted case for Emil Jager, PragueIn May 1900 Edgar Chadwick was a Burnley player, although he had played his last game and would join Southampton in August. In the prime of his career Chadwick played for Everton where he made 270 appearances from the inauguration of the Football League in 1888 and until 1899. During that time he won 7 England international caps.He was in Prague having accepted an invitation to coach some players during the English close season. After his playing days, Chadwick became a pioneering English coach in continental Europe which included a spell as the Dutch national manager during which time he coached the side to a bronze medal at the Stockholm 1912 Olympic Games.

Cup Final,long-sleeved with white collar & cuffs, the embroidered silkwork badge bearing the West Bromwich municipal crest and inscribed 1934-35, the back of the neck with a tag inscribed in ink H. TRENTHAMThe 1935 F.A. Cup Final was played at Wembley 27th April. Sheffield Wednesday defeated West Bromwich Albion 4-2. West Brom had equalized twice in the game before a late double-strike from Ellis Rimmer took the match away from them.Herbert Francis "Bert" Trentham (1908-1979) nicknamed "Corker" was a full-back born in Chirbury in Shropshire who joined West Bromwich Albion from Hereford United in April 1929. He helped the club gain promotion to the First Division and won a F.A. Cup winner's medal in 1931 and a runners-up medal in 1935. He then returned to Hereford for the final part of his career.

David Fairclough was a substitute for the match, but Bob Paisley did not make any changes during the game.

Liverpool won the second match at Villa Park 2-1. David Fairclough did not feature in either game.
The red Liverpool No.28 jersey worn by Steven Gerrard on his first full competitive start for the club in the UEFA Cup 3rd Round 2nd Leg tie v Celta Vigo played at Anfield 8th December 1998,long-sleeved, the reverse lettered GERRARD; sold with two supporting provenance documents which feature this shirt, a Wirral Echo newspaper and an edition of The Koppite magazine (3) Steven Gerrard was born in Whiston, Merseyside, 30th May 1980. He was playing for hometown team Whiston Juniors when he was noticed by Liverpool scouts and joined the Liverpool Academy aged 9. Gerrard signed his first professional contract with Liverpool on 5 November 1997 and made his first-team debut as a last minute substitute in the Premier League game v Blackburn Rovers at Anfield 19th November 1998. The present jersey represents Gerrard's first full start for Liverpool FC where for the record Celta Vigo beat Liverpool 1-0. And so began the career of a player who would be an all-time club legend playing in over 500 Premier League games and afforded winner's medals for the Champions League, UEFA Cup, UEFA Super Cup, F.A. Cup, three Football League Cups and a F.A. Community Shield.After the match with Celta Vigo Gerrard swapped shirts with opponent Goran Djorovic who in turn gifted it to a friend in Serbia. It was later acquired by a Liverpool supporter, the present consignor.

CORONAJason Brown acquired this shirt from his opposite number on the occasion of the international friendly match v Mexico played at the MetLife Stadium, New York, 27th May 2012.This is an unworn shirt as the red colour issue clashed with the Welsh team, so Corona wore a blue No.12 goalkeeping jersey in the game which Mexico won 2-0.
