CHESTER - STOCKPORT COUNTY 1911-FA CUP Four page official programme issued by Taplen and Paddocks for the FA Cup tie , Chester v Stockport County 18/11/1911. The editorial notes rather bitterly that a Wrexham protest about the Chester side fielding an ineligible player in the previous round had been dismissed although the player now could not play against Stockport. County won the game 4-1 in the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round. The programme has a fold, slight tears to edges and minor ageing although overall condition is at least "Fair-generally good". SOUTHPORT - HORWICH RMI 1939-40 Southport home programme v Horwich RMI, Reserves match for Southport, 7/10/1939 and game was one of the first played after football was resumed on a regional basis after War was declared. 12 page issue, Lancashire Combination. Horwich team was not to hand at the time of printing but Southport Reserves team is listed. Minor fold. Generally good
WALTHAMSTOW AVE - DULWICH 1939-40 Very unusual single page sheet containing the team line ups for the game played 26/8/1939, may be a friendly or could be Isthmian League. No price on the programme and could have been given away upon admittance. War truncated the season in September and the programme just contains line-ups and numbers, colours and date. Fold. Good
WORLD CUP FINAL 1966 George Freston, then employed by and later owner of Fox Photos was one of very few photographers at the Final who used colour film and this lot is his personal copy of the legendary and iconic photograph that he took after the game showing Bobby Moore being held by Geoff Hurst and Ray Wilson as he holds the World Cup aloft on the pitch at Wembley. Freston rushed back to his darkroom to print the photograph and it is printed on Fujicolour professional paper. The print measures approximately 15" x 12" and is in full (rather vivid) colour. Copyright does not come with the photograph as this belonged to Fox Photos and their library and copyright rights was later sold to a major photography organisation. Unique chance to own an original print of this famous photograph. Comes with a programme from the 1966 World Cup Commemoration and Royal Jubilee Tournament at Wembley , 6/6/77, which contains several photographs taken by Freston and marked with a cross beside them. IPSWICH - NORWICH 1939-40 Scarce Ipswich home programme for the fixture v Norwich, 2/9/1939 and the last of three fixtures played before World War 2 started and the season was truncated and wartime regional football commenced. Ipswich had previously defeated Norwich in the Football League Jubilee game but this game ended 1-1. Score noted, slight fold, slight ageing to one edge. Generally good

Includes 63/4 v Goole, 64/5 v Hull Brunswick (Yorks League), 66/7 v Goole, 67/8 v Goole (FA Cup) , 68/9 v Middlesbrough (North Riding Senior Cup Final), 70/71 v Middlesbrough (Player of the Year friendly match), remainder are 1970s except for games v Wolves 15/8/87 (first Football League game for Scarborough ) and FA Cup game v Chelsea 24/1/2004. Minor faults. Generally good
WARTIME - GERMANY Scarce programme for Armed Forces Football Competition played in Germany. Game is between Combined Services (Germany) and Norwegian Army, played 20/10/46 in Dusseldorf. Signed on cover "Best wishes Eddie Baily" who played for Tottenham and England. Players in the Services side included four players from Scottish sides plus Parson (West Ham), Baily, Rickaby (Middlesbrough) , Duggan (Luton) and Lee (York). There were four groups in this Inter Allied Football Competition held in Germany and GB were in a group with the Danish and the Norwegian Forces.. There is a rather unusual note to the back cover stating that "Officer spectators may obtain tea from the Yacht Club after the game". some folds. Generally good
EXETER - QPR 47 Exeter home programme v QPR dated Wednesday 29th January 47. The match was either postponed or abandoned as the game itself was played on March 5th 47 with another programme being issued for that game. A photocopy of the programme for the re-arranged date is also included (front/back cover and centre pages). The programme for 29/1/47 is an original with rust marks and rusty staple area hole , condition is fair. As described
NEWPORT - SOUTHAMPTON 46 POSTPONED Scarce Newport County programme v Southampton , 31/8/46. This was a long awaited return to normal peacetime Football League football but the match was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, Southampton having to wait four days for their first game (v Swansea) and Newport seven days (at Nottm Forest). Rusty staple area. Generally good

The programme also covered a Youth game played after the game between Southampton Youth and Portsmouth Lads League for the Mayoral Shield. Minor fold, slight creasing. Generally good
WALES MENU 1929 Menu for banquet in honour of the Wales Touring Football team to Canada. The Banquet was held by the St David's Welsh Society, 24/6/1929. Wales took 20 players for the month long tour and played 15 games. The tour was a Full Welsh International tour and players included Keenor, Vizard, Jones, Cook etc. This Dinner was a post match Banquet after the game at Edmonton the same day and was held at The Hudsonia, Edmonton, Alberta. Good
WORLD CUP 66 TICKETS Set of nine Wembley tickets from the 1966 World Cup including all 6 England games, third/fourth game and two group games played at Wembley which did not involve England. Tickets are all South Terrace Seats, Entrance 33 Row 14, Seat 120 on each ticket. Final is in good condition, slight fold but hardly noticeable and all others are also in good condition. Comes with original ticket wallet with Gillette advert on the back. Good

BROMLEY - PEGASUS 49 Four page Bromley home programme v Pegasus, 19/11/49, friendly played under Cup-Tie rules as the match was played as a challenge match re-run of the Amateur Cup tie played between the two teams the previous season when Bromley won 4-3. SOUTH AFRICA- BRITISH LIONS 1974 Three programmes for Test Matches from the 1974 Tour of South Africa by the British Lions. The Lions went undefeated through the Tour winning every game apart from the last match which ended in a draw. Programmes are for the Second Test at Pretoria, 22/6/74, (Lions won 28-9), Third Test at Port Elizabeth (Lions won 26-9) and Fourth Test at Ellis Park, Johannesburg (13-13 draw).. A few minor marks etc but no writing and generally good condition. Generally good
MAN UTD MISCELLANY Small collection of programmes, Champions League Final 2008, World Club Championship v Quito 2008 ( plus 2 team sheets for the game and one for game v Gamba Osaka), 1996 FA Cup Final, 2004 FA Cup Final, Man Utd v Norwich 26/4/14 (Giggs first game as Interim manager) , Man Utd v Swansea 12/5/13 (Ferguson last game at Old Trafford), 1963 Cup Final (good), Middlesbrough v Man Utd 21/2/70 (Cup), away friendlies at Llandudno 14/11/2002 and at Aberdeen 5/8/91. Generally good
1934 WORLD CUP Official programme for the 1934 World Cup Final tournament held in Italy, May/June 1934. This programme covers the whole Tournament and whilst programmes were not as such produced for the individual games, occasional newspaper souvenir issues listed teams or occasionally a venue would produce a teamsheet style programme. This however was the only official 1934 World Cup programme and is quite scarce. 64 pages plus covers , the covers showing the flags of the 16 qualifying nations. The programme has pictures and details of all the teams, qualifying results, stadiums, referees , linesmen and game schedule etc. Good
SOUTHAMPTON 1934-35 Southampton FC handbook, 1934-35, red pocket sized edition, 92 pages plus autograph sheet signed by 11 players in team profile from the game at Brentford, 9/3/35. Signed on reverse by the manager and trainer. Handbook has some slightly grubby pages but is in generally good condition. Generally good
COVENTRY IN ASIA 1972 Small collection of newspapers covering Santos (with Pele) v Coventry in Bangkok, June 13th 1972 . The papers are the Bangkok Post dated June 12th, 13th and 14th and The Nation (Bangkok), June 14th and all contain articles and pictures about the game which ended 2-2. Also included is the front and back cover of the Coventry Evening Telegraph dated June 16th with a picture showing Dugdale, Randell and Coop holding Pele's shirt with an article about new managers Mercer and Milne. Generally good

Southampton were one of the few clubs who only played 2 official games in this war truncated season as their game at Newport was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. Fair-generally good
