A 19th century composite King's Husk pattern silver canteen Comprising: twelve table forks, twelve table knives, twelve tablespoons, twelve forks, twelve knives, twelve spoons, twelve dessert spoons, six teaspoons, two salt spoons, a pair of salad servers, a pair of sugar tongs, sugar sifter, scissors, meat carvers, game carvers and a steel, various dates and makers, in fitted oak box. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, approximately 5.1 kilos weighable silver.

Lose Lagen. Gr.-4to.Von großer Seltenheit, kein Exemplar im JAP oder ABPC. - Hübsches Musikspiel, in welchem man aus vorgegebenen musikal. Phrasen durch Würfeln eine Walzer-Komposition zusammenstellen kann `soviel man wil ohne musikalisch zu seyn noch etwas von der Composition zu verstehen` (Untertitel). Zur Verfügung stehen 4 S. mit Notentakten; zwei Schematafeln für den ersten und den zweiten Teil der Komposition geben vor, in welcher Länge und Reihenfolge man die Takte durch Würfeln miteinander kombiniert. Mit Anleitung in Deutsch, Holländisch, Englisch und Französisch. - Es ist nicht gesichert, ob das vorlieg. Spiel tatsächlich von Mozart stammt oder ob es ihm nur aus Verkaufsgründen zugeschrieben wurde. `Daß Mozart jedoch wirklich sich selber mit der Spielerei befaßt hat, zeigt das Skizzenblatt zum Adagio von 516; Paris, Bibliothèque du Convervatoire de Musique, Sammlung Malherbe. Das Blatt (8 Systeme, unten abgeschnitten), dessen Echtheit von Nissen beglaubigt ist, enthält die Skizze zu einer Menuetstimme, und zwar sind einzelne Taktgruppen durch a-z BDFGKLMNPQSTWZ zusammengefaßt.` (Köchel) - Ein Würfelspiel von ähnlicher Art, auch Mozart zugeschrieben, dient der spielerischen Komposition von `Englischen Contretänzen` (RISM M 7225). - Gebräunt, Falz der Notenseiten mit zartem Papier verstärkt und stellenw. leimschattig.Köchel Anh. C 30.01 (Köchel 3, Anh. 294 d). - Haberkamp S. 425. - RISM M 7224.Of highest scarceness. - Music game, ascribed to Mozart, which allows the player to arrange a Waltz composition from given musical phrases and bars by means of rolling dice. Engr. title, engr. number plates, engr. instructions and 4 engr. pages with notes. Loose sheets. - Browned, folding of pages with music notes reinforced with delicate paper and partly glue-stained.
