RUGBY- NEW ZEALAND 1905 New Zealand Rugby Touring team postcard 1905 showing the players etc on the front and the reverse side lists the players plus their age and weight and lists the fixtures on the tour plus the results of the first 16 games played from Sept 16th to November 7th 1905. The next game was at Cambridge (University we presume !!) and to date the New Zealand team had won every game , usually by wide margins, indeed in 12 of the games they had not conceded a point and in total they had scored 540 points and conceded 15. Ronnie Rookes XI v Tommy Lawtons XI 28/4/49 (12 Arsenal or ex-Arsenal players played including Alex James , slight ageing ) and Denis Comptons XI v Alex James XI 23/4/52 with players from Arsenal, Spurs, Charlton, West Ham, Fulham, Crystal Palace and Brentford taking part. Alex James played in the first half. Score, scorers etc noted in both programmes. Generally good
CORINTHIANS - MILLWALL 1930 CUP Four page Corinthian FC programme v Millwall, 11/1/1930 at The Crystal Palace, Cup 3rd Round, the game ended 2-2 and the replay was also a draw before Millwall went through at the third attempt. Slight creasing, fold, slightly grubby on top half of front cover. Fair-generally good

The game ended 1-1, score noted, minor fold. Generally good

The touring 53 (W) Division side included players from Leicester, Stoke, Bury, QPR, Swansea, South Liverpool and St Albans whilst 7 different Dusseldorf teams were represented. WARTIME- IPSWICH 43 Four page stiffened paper programme, Suffolk Navy XI v Eastern Command , 27/3/43 at Portman Road, Ipswich. Clubs represented included Celtic, Everton, Stoke, Derby, Wolves, Bolton, Aberdeen, Margate, Troon Athletic, Brechin and Chelsea plus others. Eastern Command were 4-1 up at half-time but the game ended 5-5. Score noted. Generally good
WARTIME 1945 Single sheet programme, 21/4/45, 5 Army v 1 District. The 5th Army were in North Africa, Egypt and Italy in the War and it is likely that this game took place in Italy. Part of the Jesse Pye collection originally and he played for 1 District with other players from Fulham, Wolves, Man City, Preston, St Johnstone, Arsenal, Tottenham, Third Lanark, Cardiff and others. Generally good
WORLD CUP 1966- LONDON Match tickets for 8 of the 10 games played in London, Missing games are the Semi-Final and the group game , Mexico v Uruguay 19/7/66. All 3 England group games plus the game at White City are included. Final ticket is for East Standing Enclosure and is in good condition as are the others although ticket dated 16/7/66, England v Mexico has a scuff to top left hand corner. Generally good-good

Senior Final is Old Creightonians v Old Spring Grovians, Junior Final is Old Esthameians Res v Old Minchendenians Res. Comes with similar size programme from Old Minchendonians from the same date which also lists the two teams for the game at Barnet. Slight folds. Generally good

The paper also includes team group pictures of Manchester United and Glasgow Rangers stating that they may be next year's visitors. Fold. Generally good
