Included in this lot is a 12-sided bone teetotum and a number of engraved mother-of-pearl counters.

Gebr Merkel. A fine pair of 12-bore boxlock ejector guns, nos. 775609/10. 28-inch barrels with 2.75-inch chambers, about .25 choke borings and .5 and .75 choke borings respectively, cross bolt extensions, machined ribs, the frames and dummy sideplates engraved with scroll work and scenes of game in landscapes, clipped fences, 14.5-inch figured stocks, nitro proof, in their leather case, 7lb. 4oz. and 7lb. respectively. The guns were built in 1981 and appear almost unused. They retain almost all of their original finish.

A 10-bore boxlock non-ejector gun, no. 16234. 30-inch barrels with 2.75-inch chambers, about improved cylinder and full choke borings, cross bolt extension and machined rib, the plain frame with border engraving, 14.5-inch figured stock with semi pistol grip, nitro proof together with a Austrian 12-bore boxlock ejector gun, no. 4889, retailed by John Sarks, 28-inch barrels with 2.75-inch chambers, about full choke borings, cross bolt extension and machined rib, the frame and dummy sideplates with scroll engraving and scenes of game in landscapes, 14.5-inch figured stock, 7lb. 8oz., Austrian nitro proof. 7lb. 14oz. and 7lb. 7oz. respectively

A scarce 10-bore 1883 model boxlock non-ejector gun, no. 967. 30-inch Damascus barrels with 3-inch chambers, about .5 and full choke borings, dolls head extension, together with an additional pair of barrels by the Midland Gun Company, the frame with scroll engraving and scenes of dogs and game in landscapes, 14-inch well figured stock with semi pistol grip, comb with let in repair, fore end chipped, nitro proof, bores marked, worn overall 9lb. 14oz.

A 12-bore percussion gun, no. 4975. 30-inch Damascus barrels with engraved breeches, platinum plugs and lines, barlocks and hammers with scroll engraving, engraved furniture, the half length stock with 14.25-inch pull, black powder proof, ramrod missing, together with a 10-bore sidelever hammer gun with barrels by Lincoln Jefferies, 34-inch Damascus barrels with chambers for thin brass cases, the frame, locks, sidelever and hammers with scroll engraving and scenes of dogs chasing game, signed Perrin & Son, 14.5-inch figured stock with pistol grip and rubber recoil pad, black powder proof
F.N. Browning. A fine Diet engraved 12-bore single trigger over and under gun, a two barrel set, no. P14RP1337. the 28-inch barrels with 2.75 inch chambers and about .25 and .5 choke borings, the 26.5 inch barrels with 2.75 inch chambers and about improved cylinder borings, narrow machined ventilated ribs, each set of barrels with its own fore end, the blacked frame and dummy sideplates engraved with bold foliate scrolls and scenes of game within landscapes, inlet with gold and signed by the engraver Jean H Diet, selective single trigger, 14.5 inch highly figured stock with pistol grip and makers buttplate, Belgian nitro proof, in its fitted makers case. 7lb. 1oz. and 6lb. 15oz. respectively. The gun appears very little used and retains almost all of its finish.
