The Netherlands, 18th May 1935.George Male (1910-1998) was a one club man for Arsenal and the right back/left half played 285 times between 1929-1948. Male also played 19 times for England with this cap being his fourth, playing in a 1-0 win in a friendly in Amsterdam. Male went on to captain England in November 1936, and then a further 5 times after that.
