Early 20th century brass cased clock with twin train movement, blue Roman numerals on white enamel cartouches, cast decoration of game, hounds and hunting horn, on scroll feet, 43cm high, . Case heavily tarnished, some minor losses, various parts loose. Dial - four of the enamel numbers chipped, we have had this clock running, we do not guarantee this or that it keeps good time.
A ROYAL WORCESTER TRIO PAINTED WITH GAME BIRDS, the cup with a Mallard, signed L. Maybury, the saucer with a blackcock, signed James Stinton and the tea plate by the same artist with a grouse, printed and incised marks, together with a Royal Worcester miniature blush ivory mug, cracked (4) (condition: The miniature mug has a large crack running through from top almost to bottom, also some inclusions in the glaze towards the base, the back stamp is a bit hazy, there is a scratch in the glaze above the Grouse’s back, all pieces seem free from chips, cracks and no obvious signs of restoration)
CHARLES HUNT (BRITISH 1829-1900), 'The Court Martial', children playing a game in a cottage interior, oil on canvas, signed and dated 1872 lower left, gilt frame with title plaque, approximately 74cm x 124.5cm (condition: Deceased estate item, the canvas has been relined, it is recommended you assess the picture in person as under UV light it is possible there has been some repair or restoration on the left hand side but due to relining we are unable to commit to condition)
A mah-jong set, early 20th century, with bone sticks, black and caramel celluloid tiles, all in a tooled leather case with green plush lined trays, and four Chinese red and black lacquered tile trays. CONDITION REPORT: The leather case is in nice condition throughout. The handle is good and not perished although there is slight opening to the leather of the grip but I believe it is not too detrimental. There are some scratches beneath the grip on the top of the lid through handling. There is a small fingernail patch of ink on the rear lid edge. There is a small scuff to the top edge of the fall front and the right hand upper edge has been slightly folded over where not shut correctly. The plush lined trays appear to be in good order. The lid to the body retaining strap is in good order. The front lock and both side clasps are firmly attached and in working order. The locking plate is engraved “Made by KIU YIH”. The front lower left corner has a slight deterioration about 1 cm in length. There is some slight staining to the underside of the case but overall it is pretty much intact. Within the leather case there are two sets of mah-jong rule books and a score card. There are 144 game tiles, 4 black sided tiles and four counters marked 1,000. There is a miniature set of four dice in a softwood case and two further dice. There is a rotating disc denoting the players turn. There are 121 bone sticks. There are four lacquered tiled trays contained in a cloth bag.

A 19th century Boulle work Bridge card game box, the exterior finely decorated with scrolling tendrils in brass and tortoiseshell, the interior with a green levant lining and original booklet, two scoring booklets with pencils and two unopened packets of playing cards, (appears not used), 6.5cm H x 21cm W x 11.5cm D CONDITION REPORT: Minor wear to the underside of the base, some of the scoring pages with light foxing but generally of good bright condition.
A set of four 19th century Black Forest walnut wall panels of rectangular form. Each carved in high relief with fruit and game depicting a brace of partridge, a hare, three fish tied and fruit, 64cm x 34.5cm (4). Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Loss to the tip of one of the tail fins belonging to the fish. Slight loss to the leaves within the fruit. Overall very good.
