Robert Henry Roe (b, 1793-1880) - A collection of three 19th Century Victorian oil on board paintings with each set within a gilt frame with foliate detailing. One entitled 'Black Game' with two birds to the foreground and mountainous regions to the backdrop (signed and wax sealed to the verso). Together with two studies of Mallard ducks in flight over reeded ponds. Each measures approx; 24cm x 33cm.

A 19th Century Chinese / Oriental Qing Dynasty blue & white plate. Round plate glazed in white with blue glaze decoration. The central scene depicting children playing a game using a blindfold & taunting one another with a fish. Decorated around the lip of the plate with traditional repeated pattern including bat motifs. An early 20th century Mahjong set - bone-faced tiles and scoring chips within an Oriental three-drawer lacquered box with top carrying-handle. One scoring chip missing. (20cm wide)Condition Report: One swan neck handle is missing and the lacquered is in good general condition overall but the lacquer has dulled down significantly, there are some marks commensurate with age. It is noted that going through the tiles one scoring tile is missing but all the other pieces are present. The game has been clearly used and played with and as such the some of the bone surfaces exhibit darkening and grime. The set also includes instructions.
