ENGLAND CAP White England Cap awarded to Fred Bullock of Huddersfield Town v Ireland, October 23rd 1920 at Roker Park, England won the game 2-0 and this was the only International appearance by Bullock, Fred Bullock, born July 1866 in Hounslow and played as an Amateur for Ilford, captaining England against Ireland shortly before turning professional with Huddersfield Town, playing 25 times in their first Football League season 1910-11 Bullock went on to play 202 times for Huddersfield, scoring one goal (his position was left back). This resulted in him being selected for England against Ireland in 1920 and whilst his appearance was not an unqualified success, it was well deserved as he was 34 years old and managed the Amateur / Professional double. The Cap is generally good being completely intact with just some very minor ageing, no musty smells and lining is also intact. Generally good
