A large Worcester The Foxhunt pattern punch bowl, printed after engraved by Robert Hancock, after an oil James Seymour, with In Full Chase, with a continuous scene of huntsmen galloping to hounds, jumping fences and being watched by various farm folk, the fox in the distance, one huntsman being helped back on his horse, the interior with the dead fox being held aloft, four vignettes of game and sporting scenes at the rim, gilt border, 28.5cm diam. c.1768-70 Provenance: The D.V. Pares Wilson Collection. Note: As far as I can find out. Miss D, V. Pares Wilson is a race horse owner. She owned a number of Worcester Early Pieces all to do with horses.
