Gordon 93rd Highrs", bearing white metal plaque - "Shot on 10th May 1868, Lullutpore, India, Lt R. Gordon 93rd Highrs".antlers have been historically cut and re-fitted back onto the skull, both antlers are slightly loose.

Taxidermy: Lowland Bongo (Tragelaphus eurycerus eurycerus), dated 1964, Bangassou, Central African Republic, attributed to Rowland Ward Ltd, Nairobi, Kenya, a large adult male shoulder mount with head turning slightly to the left, right horn 61.5cm (24"), left horn 62cm (24¼"), tip to tip 24cm, from the wall 68cm, height 118cm, mounted upon a typical period shaped oak shield, bearing ivorine plaque to shield base - "BONGO, Bangassou, CAR, Sep.22 1964, W.H. Hale", bearing hand written Obituary for William Holden Hale to verso of shield, " He entered the colonial service in 1930 serving as district office. He became Chief Game warden for Kenya where he shot this Bongo and a Hunters Hartebeest, died in 1996". Condition report: split to side of right ear, various hair loss and fading the rear of both ear lobes, contrary to the obituary note on the verso of the shield - this Bongo was shot in the Central African Republic and Not in Kenya as stated.

Assam Buffalo Cow Shot by my uncle Major Robert Campbell and sent home at the same time as Nos 1&2". Recorded as No 4 in the Rowland Ward Records of Big Game dated 1896, hand written note to page 267 by Sir John Campbell - "These two were shot by my uncle Col Robert Campbell but are in the possession of Sir John Campbell of Kilberry to whose father they were given by my father. When i sent the measurement to Rowland Ward i told him this, but he has nonetheless entered them wrongly as belonging to me, dated 1896"Measured using Rowland Ward method 10.

Taxidermy: Bengal Tiger Skin Rug (Panthera tigris tigris), circa 1888-1891, by Rowland Ward, Taxidermy, 166 Piccadilly, London, adult skin rug with head mount, jaw agape, glass eyes, mounted upon typical original canvas backing, with red serrated felt border, nose to tail 277cm, across the forelimbs 197cm, across the rear limbs 180cm, entry within the game book notes - "2 Tiger skins remain also one with skull mounted, (one of Sir Edwrd Durand's my other grandfr's, trophies), i understand that the old skins were nailed to the walls, and that my mother introduced the idea of mounting two skins on batons so that they can be taken down for cleaning".Sir Edward Durand was stationed in Nepal circa 1888-1891. the skin overall is quite stiff as being hung attached to a stretcher for many years within the hall way of Kilberry, ( i have it rolled at the moment so their is some flexibility), it does require a good clean and i feel this will benefit it massively, the overall pile of the fur is excellent as having never been laid out on the floor, and the colour is also very good as it was hung out of direct sunlight within the hall way, (cleaning would bring it out even more), the gumline as you will see in the images has cracked over the years, the upper left and lower left fang is chipped (damaged). please refer to additional images available on tennants website for further inspection.

Nobby Stiles signed Manchester United 12x8 colour photo. Norbert Peter Stiles MBE (18 May 1942 - 30 October 2020) was an English footballer and manager. He played for England for five years, winning 28 caps and scoring one goal. He played every minute of England's victorious 1966 FIFA World Cup campaign. In the semi-final of that tournament against Portugal, he was given the job of marking the prolific Eusebio. His tough performance resulted in Eusebio being practically nullified for the entire game. Stiles also played in the final, which England won 4-2 against West Germany. His post-match dance on the Wembley pitch, holding the World Cup trophy in one hand and his false teeth in the other, was widely broadcast. Good condition Est.
