A Doulton Lambeth jug, 19th century, decorated by Emma Marriot and Agnes Sandes, with a central frieze of figures playing rugby against a mottled buff ground, artists' marks and impressed maker's marks for 1883 to base (the jug was made exactly 60 years after William Webb Ellis invented the game of rugby in 1823), 19cm high (at fault) along with a Doulton Lambeth biscuit barrel, decorated by Lizzie Padbury in a scrolling floral and foliate pattern of browns and cobalt blue against a buff ground, 15cm high, a Doulton Lambeth commemorative teapot, decorated by Rosina Brown, celebrating the coronation of Edward VII in 1901, with applied portraits of Edward and Queen Alexandra in cameo relief, numbered 1066, 15cm high, a Doulton Lambeth inkwell in cobalt blue decorated by Alice Cooke and two small Doulton Lambeth candlesticks (6)
