Photograph Album: America 1943-1945 green cloth bound album with metal brads, containing 200+ black and white photographs pasted down on 48 black card pages, titled in white ink on front pastedown America July 1943-Sept.1945 with hand-painted American flag above, many pages neatly captioned in white ink, the photographs taken during a trip to Canada and United States are various sizes, the largest 5 x 3 inches, images depicted several of the amateur photographers friends wearing military uniforms, scenic views, notable buildings, social gatherings, and sporting events, and include, snowy Canadian scenic views, Detroit to St. Louis bus at Dayton (Ohio) May 1944, Reds v Cub baseball game, June 25, 1944, Miami and Gatlinburg May/June, 1944, Miami Beach May 1944, a native Seminole Indian family, bears at Newfound Gap May/June 1944, Niagara Falls July 1944, Hollywood Charity Golf Match, April 1944, depicted contestants Fred Astaire and Mickey Rooney smiling to camera, and Johnny Weissmuller, Dennis OKeefe. Dorothy Lamour/Frank Sinatra and Bob Hope in action on the golf course, Harvard University, Jan 28, 1945, Room 1015 of 3rd National Bank Building, Dayton, Ohio, depicted Sgt. Toole sat at his desk wearing military uniform April 4, 1945, New York, Christmas 1944 depicted Times Square, 5th Avenue, the Waldorf Astoria. Radio City Ice Rink, Grand Central Terminal, the Chrysler building, March 18, 1945, the Empire State Building, Wall Street, Yankee Stadium, Brooklyn Bridge, and a military friends wedding held on May 19, 1945; together with, three loosely inserted black and white photographs including John Wayne, Lucille Ball, Gary Hope (Signed) and the ocean liner SS.
