Original vintage advertising poster for "The Road to Heaven", translated from Swedish - "Himlaspelet", a play by Rune Lindström, written and premiered in 1941 at the Paradplatsen in Leksand in protest against Nazism. After a few years of hiatus in the late 1940s, the game has been performed in Leksand every summer since 1951. This poster was made for the 1961 occasion of the Himlaspelet, held in July, and published by Borås Kliché – LIitografiska AB. It features an angelic character with angel wings in navy blue attire and a black top hat sitting atop a small hill, dotted with daisies while playing the violin. Condition: Very good condition, pinholes at edges. Country of printing: Sweden, designer: Rune Lindstrom, size (cm): 99.5x63, year of printing: 1961.

Original vintage sport poster for the football game between England and Germany, part of the 1982 World Cup (Copa Mundial 1982) hosted by Spain. The match was played on 29 June 1982 at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid and ended as a scoreless draw. Italy won the tournament by a 3-1 victory over West Germany. This poster features a striking and colourful artwork by artist Salvador Donat Sauri, who is also quite renowned for his advertisements and bullfighting posters. Printed in Spain by Lit. Ortega S.A., Valencia. Condition: Very good condition, small tears on margins.. Country of printing: Spain, designer: Salvador Donat Sauri, size (cm): 97x54.5, year of printing: 1982.

The collection comprising of several period boxed sets, as well as a charming collection of mail-away magic tricks - some unused. The boxed sets include; a ' British Manufacture ' Conjuring Tricks set, ' Askalite - The Electric Oracle ' Chad Valley game, ' The St Michael Conjuring Set - Magic Made Easy ,' Kay ' Conjuring Tricks ' boxed set, and a rare early Ernest Sewell ' Young Magician's Table '. The mail-away tricks appearing to largely be from Quaker Oats - some appearing completely unused, within their original mail boxes (includes some correspondence from Quaker Oats). Also included are several period books on magic / conjuring, and a letter signed by magician / illusionist Billy Dooley. All boxed sets sold as unchecked for completeness, but are certainly full and contents appear correct. We presume sets are near complete, if not complete. Fantastic collection of magic related items.
