The match took place due to the tragedy of the original game a few days earlier when the Bury full back Wynne collapsed and died during the game. They scored their final League goal in this game, drawing 1-1 and it was scored by Ferguson who, although a forward, scored his first goal here after 31 games. It was the last point gained by Stanley who had not won since October 14th. Played on a Tuesday night, the attendance was only 1,981 . Generally good
