SHEFFIELD UNITED Nine home programmes, all 46/7, v Bolton, Wolves, Carlisle (Cup), Huddersfield, Charlton, Preston, Stoke (if Stoke had won this game they would have been Champions, they did not and Liverpool became Champions, 14/6/47), Sunderland and Derby. Most have creases, team changes etc. Fair
BRENTFORD Five home programmes, 1935-36:, v Man City (includes insert, no staple); v Grimsby (no staple); v Everton (no staple, slight creases, score noted, small writing on front cover); v Derby (slightly creased, no staple); v West Brom (no staple). The match against West Brom was the last home game of the season, the game ended in a draw, and Brentford finished in 5th place in the top Division, never since bettered and they were the highest placed London Club. Generally good
LUTON Home programme v Coventry, 25/4/1936, a vital game as the season ended with Coventry winning promotion by a point from Luton. The game finished 1-1 and the teams drew 0-0 a couple of days later at Coventry. Probably ex bound volume, no writing, slight scuffing along spine of back cover. Generally good
NOTTS COUNTY / ARSENAL Notts County home programme v Arsenal, 27/4/1940, War Cup, second leg game after Arsenal won the first leg 4-0. NEWCASTLE Souvenir Record booklet published by Newcastle to celebrate their winning the 1926-27 First Division title, rather presumptuous to some extent as Newcastle published this 16 page booklet before they had actually won the title. A point was still needed from the last four games but only one was at home and Newcastle wanted to cash in by selling this booklet at the last league home game. Luckily for the Mags, a point at West Ham secured the title, and Newcastle have not won it since. Slight ageing to cover and minor annotations. Fair-generally good
EVERTON / MAN UTD YOUTH CUP Unusual Everton single sheet programme for Youth Cup replay v Manchester United, 26/11/58, unusual because the game was played at Anfield due to the Everton pitch suffering from severe drainage and mud problems and Liverpool offered the use of Anfield for the game, slight folds and one larger than normal punch-hole at the top left hand corner of the programme, no writing. Fair-generally good
MANCHESTER UNITED Single sheet buff coloured United home programme, Man Utd "A" v New Mills , 19/12/51, Gilgryst Cup Semi-Final, played at The Cliff, Broughton, mid-week floodlit game.
