A good quality DB 12 bore PF underlever sporting gun, 461/2" overall, twist barrels 30", engraved on top rib "Gasquoine & Dyson, Market Place, Manchester, No 1586", finely engraved back action locks decorated with game dog and bird amid foliage and maker's name in scrolls, the frame and trigger guard similarly engraved, walnut stock with chequered fore end and wrist. GWO & generally GC (dark patina to barrels with some pitting and small dent, fore end cap and one hammer spur missing)
