World Cup 66 - Official Report Hardback official book, The Football Association World Cup Report 1966, complete with dust jacket. 309 pages with many illustrations and provides a complete record of the Tournament from the planning and administration of the Tournament up to the Final itself with match reports on each game, statistics , team group photographs of each team and photographs of the games and match action from them. The book is in good condition, the dustjacket has a couple of tears and is in generally good condition and the book is a memorable souvenir on the fiftieth anniversary of the Tournament itself. A 19thC Chinese carved ivory card case with exceptionally deep and intricate carving in a central cartouche of two warriors fighting either side of a foo dog in a bamboo thicket with further figures above playing a board game. The shaped cartouche surrounded with further deeply carved peonies, the reverse decorated all over with figures, artisans and town scenes and the sides with continuous floral border. The case is 2 cm deep and the carving of the central cartouche probably 1cm deep (H12 x W7.5cm)
