Pat Reid MBE MC signed The Colditz Story hardback book signature on affixed bookplate on the inside page dedicated. Patrick Robert Reid, MBE, MC (13 November 1910 - 22 May 1990) was a British Army officer and author of history. As a British prisoner of war during the Second World War, he was held captive at Colditz Castle when it was designated Oflag IV-C. Reid was one of the few to escape from Colditz, crossing the border into neutral Switzerland in late 1942. After the war Reid was a diplomat and administrator before eventually returning to his pre-war career in civil engineering. He also wrote about his experiences in two best-selling books, which became the basis of a film, TV series, and even a board game. Good condition. Notable cards to include Moltres 149/147 secret rare in very good condition, Pikachu 78/123 reverse holographic, Magmortar 6/147, Drifblim FB 3/147, Togekiss 11/106 and many more reverse holos from the same sets. Also to include a small selection of Wizards of the Coast cards with the one notable card being the 8/62 Hypno from the Fossil set. Good collection of cards with the bulk comprising from an era of scarcity in terms of Pokemon collecting.
Pokemon Trading Card Game - a collection of assorted vintage & modern Pokemon cards to include Wizards of the Coast cards from Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, Team Rocket, some nice examples of the e-reader series cards with Skyridge, EX-Deoxys and EX-Sandstorm represented and then a selection of more modern cards primarily from the Sword and Shield era. There is a mixture of holographic and non holographic cards present throughout and the general quality of the collection is very good. The notable card in the collection being a Base Set Holographic Charizard 4/102 housed inside a Bulbapro sleeve. The card appearing in good condition for its age with some wear to the back but the front of the card generally looking nice for its age. Overall a nice collection with lots of vintage cards, a nice selection of hard to come by e-reader cards and then a large selection of modern holographic cards.
