Royal Family Autograph Letters An outstanding archive of letters written to The Mackintosh of Mackintosh in the first half of the twentieth century, including many personal letters from the British Royal Family, comprising:Three page Autograph Letter Signed (ALS) from Prince George (King George V), at Abergeldie Castle, Sept. 3rd. 1905, regarding shooting at Moy, with stamped and franked envelope; Three page ALS from Prince George (King George V), at Marlborough House, August 9th 1908, commiserating on the loss of grouse at Moy, with stamped and franked envelope; Four page ALS from the Duchess of Albany, then in Germany, fundraising for the National Hospital for the Paralysed & Epileptic, Aug 10, 1909 with subsequent letter of gratitude, two page ALS, Aug 21, 1909, both with stamped and franked envelopes; Three page ALS from Prince George (King George V), at Abergeldie Castle, Sept. 21st. 1909, discussing grouse shooting at Moy and deer stalking and grouse on Deeside, with stamped and franked envelope; Four page ALS from Prince Edward (Edward VIII) at York Cottage, Sandringham, November 19th, 1911, discussing shooting at Windsor and the gift of some books, with stamped and franked envelope; Four page AL believed to be the last letter from The Mackintosh’s son Angus Alexander Mackintosh, September 25th 1918, written to his grandmother from Canada.
