GRIMSBY - MIDDLESBROUGH 1938/39 The plot thickens, Grimsby Town home programme for match v Middlesbrough, 18/2/1939, volume XX11 number 25 but the result for the Cup replay v Sheffield United is included and the back page is different, otherwise the same programme as for the Cup replay and the following Saturday game v Middlesbrough. We can only guess that perhaps they sold more programmes than anticipated for the cup replay v Sheffield United and had to print more programmes for the game v Middlesbrough and it made sense to leave the Cup match details out as the game had already been played. Consequently there were two different programmes for the same game. Good
