Rare East German FA official weekly organ ''Fussball Woche'' (Organ des DFV IM DTSB) dated 21/11/1961 which previews the game. This issue also reviews the first leg in Berlin on 15/11/1961 and includes pictures, reports and central page full team line-ups. The Rangers-Vorwärts tie was scheduled to be played at Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow, but was moved to the Malmö Stadion in Malmö, Sweden after the East German club were again refused visas to enter the UK. The original match in Malmö was abandoned due to heavy fog with Rangers leading 1–0, and the match was replayed the following morning. Generally good

Ploughing sceneswatercolours on paper 24 x 34cm, 24.5 x 36cm, a set of twoProvenance: Acquired by Harry Bass, the art director of Tower Press, circa 1950, Thence by descent to the present owner, his daughterFootnote: Tower Press was a British board game and puzzle company founded in the early 1930s. By the 1960s they were the largest jigsaw puzzle makers in the world. In 1969 the Leeds-based games manufacturer Waddingtons bought the business, probably with the aim of removing a competitor from the market. The following seven lots (1-7) are all original watercolours commissioned in the 1960s by the then art director of Tower Press, Harry Bass. They were most likely concept pieces intended to be made into jigsaw puzzles.Condition report: 44 x 52cm, 43 x 53.5cm (framed)
