Walter Harrowing (c.1838-1913) oil on canvas - gun dogs and dead game, signed and dated 1884, in gilt frame, 50cm x 57cmCondition report: The work has been re-lined and restored, circa 30 years ago. There is evidence of overpainting, particularly in the sky, that is visible under a UV light. Overall in very good ready to hang condition.
A rare Victorian silver and enamel game counter, by Thomas Johnson, London 1888, oblong form with six turning markers, and six enamelled dials from 0-30 for hare, rabbits, grouse, partridge, pheasants and woodcock, with a ring attachment, the side engraved with the initial 'H' under a coronet, length 6cm.
