THE DARK KNIGHT RISES (2012) - Gotham Rogues Uniform A Gotham Rogues player uniform from the action film The Dark Knight Rises, directed by Christopher Nolan. The Rogues’ players wore their uniforms in the game against Rapid City Monuments that was explosively interrupted by Bane (Tom Hardy) and the League of Shadows. Made by Under Armor, the uniform consists of a yellow, silver and black Rogues jersey with number 53 and the name ‘Palmer’ on the back (XL); a pair of matching trousers(3XL) with belt and towel; a pair of cleats (UK size 9 and 11 ½); gloves; game socks and sweatbands. Douglas body armour is worn under the jersey, with a helmet made by Schutt. An unworn long-sleeved shirt (2XL) is also included. The costume displays light wear with marks and stains on the gloves. Flying Tiger Peter Wright Flt Leader Ace 2nd Sqn AVG Signed Pan Am made first Pacific Flt 1935 Honolulu 1976 FDC. The Flying Tigers, American Volunteer Group (AVG) flew for China in early 1942 and achieved great success against the Japanese. They flew 100 Curtis Warhawk P-40's, complete with the famous red shark mouth.The American public reeling from Pearl Harbor were anxious to strike back NOW! The Flying Tigers were the only game in town at that point and the only Americans doing ANYTHING ANYWHERE against the Japanese. The Flying Tigers comprised three squadrons namely: Adam and Eves, Panda Bears and Hell's Angels. Colonel Chennault developed the basic fighter tactics that American pilots would use throughout WW-2. He highlighted Interception, diving pass, no dogfighting and diving when in trouble. This remained the fundamental U.S. fighter doctrine throughout the Pacific War. Good condition. Board inside lid present but with some scuffs and wear.
