Fred Laycock, 1920's and 30's Football Memorabilia, Barrow 1920's Supporters Club Booklet, Nelson F.C 1925 Presidents Dinner menu, York 1931 Promenade Party Outing Itinerary to Sheffield. Barnsley 1923-4 single sheet programme v. Rotherham Town (poor condition), postcards of New Brighton 1927-8, Darlington circa 1929. match and training photographs, official club correspondence of Barrow, Nelson, New Brighton, Raith, Luton, Swindon, solicitors letters relating to a dispute with Swindon Town. F.A letter and football league card reducing a fine to £70! K.O.Y.L.I Certificate, German Prisoner of War, De Mob Certificate, cricket items and many other interesting items relating to his illustrious career, in folio. Born Sheffield 1897, died 1989, an inside forward for many clubs including Rotherham Town, Sheffield Wednesday, Barrow, Nelson, Mansfield Town, New Brighton, Peterborough, Darlington, York, Swindon, Derby, Hereford. Whilst playing a game for Barrrow he was called from the pitch to sign for Nelson, before completing the game for Barrow. Laycock and Barrow were both fined for the incident!
Adrian Ludwig Zingg (Swiss, 1734-1816), Schloss Pillnitz on the river Elbe, Dresden sepia pen and ink on wove paper, signed 'Zingg del.' lower left above foliage, laid down onto paper or thin card with a lined ink border (possibly a folio page) 12½ x 17½in. (31.75 x 44.5cm.) * Condition: Drawing has been laid down onto backing paper with ink lined border drawn around edge. Paper evenly time stained. A few sporadic fox marks and some grey line marks and smudges across sky and left margin. Would benefit from cleaning by a specialist restorer. No tears, creases, holes or other damage. In a modern painted faux wood frame with gilt border and lined mount.

Not actually written by Charles I, and often wrongly attributed to George Wither. A curious poem in rhymed triplets purporting to have been written by Charles I during his incarceration at Carisbrooke Castle, in the Isle of Wight prior to his execution. (9)
