Copies of the London edition of 1811 called the second edition occasionally appear at auction but no copy of this un-illustrated first edition have been offered for sale at auction in the last 30 years. COPAC cites several editions of the work including one dated Edinburgh 1810 also printed by Balfour Kirkwood and Co. and with the same pagination as this copy. Ours is therefore perhaps a later issue with 1811 date on title. .
