Twelve by Eight Press.- Mason (John) More papers handmade by John Mason, number ""variant 50"" of an unspecified limited edition [probably fewer than 200 copies] signed and dated by John Mason, title printed in gold, specimens of handmade paper, some tipped-in, illustrations, including an image "designed, cut and printed" by Blair Hughes-Stanton, original parchment-backed boards, spine gilt, with mylar dust-jacket and folding cream chemise (very lightly rubbed and dust-soiled), uncut, small folio, Leicester, Twelve by Eight Press, 1960.⁂ A collection of papers hand-made by John Mason, each printed and illustrated by well-known craftsmen of the day including Blair Hughes-Stanton, Will Carter, Rigby Graham, and interleaved with Mason's type-written comments of papermaking. It is a true labour of love, having taken eight years to complete. As Mason writes in his foreword "no two will be quite alike".
