Mit Wasserzeichen (Löwe mit Schwert und Initialen C.D.L.). - Das außergewöhnliche Manuskript vereint 18 handgeschriebene Fabeln in fein leserlicher und geschwungener Schrift. Die lavierten Federzeichnungen welche die Fabeln begleiten sind mit äußerster Sorgfalt ausgeführt und illustrieren das Werk wunderbar in ihrer minutiösen Darstellung der Tiere und Landschaften. Als Vorbild für das vorliegende Manuskript und die Zeichnungen schien eine von Sadeler illustrierte Ausgabe der Fabeln zu dienen, welche 1743 in Paris erschien: Les fables d'Ésope gravées par Sadeler, avec un discours préliminaire & les sens moraux en distiques. - Papierbedingt gebräunt. Im oberen Rand etwas gewellt. Vereinzelt etwas fleckig. Einige Bll. mit kleinem Wasserfleck. Insgesamt sehr gut erhalten. French manuscript with 18 hand drawings. Late 18th / early 19th c. The pen-and-ink drawings accompanying the fables are executed with the utmost care and beautifully illustrate the work in their meticulous depiction of animals and landscapes. The model for the present manuscript and drawings seems to have been a French edition of the fables illustrated by Sadeler in 1743. - Paper browned. Somewhat wavy in the upper part. Sporadically somewhat spotted. A few leaves with a small water stain. Overall very well preserved.

P. Meincke). Er vertrat politisch einen an den Werken von Adam Smith orientierten Wirtschaftsliberalismus mit sozialstaatlichen Elementen und kam in seinen Forschungen zur Geschichte der Sozial- und Arbeitslosenversicherung zu dem Ergebnis, dass es in Deutschland in der Neuzeit entgegen anderer Meinungen keine von staatlichem Einfluss freie Wirtschaft gegeben habe. Fast komplette Folge des satirischen Wochenblatts, es fehlt einzig Nr. 167 (7. Jan. 1871). L'Éclipse erschien von Januar 1868 bis Juni 1876 und wurde hauptsächlich von André Gill illustriert. Zahlreiche Ausgaben der Zeitung wurden von der Zensur verboten, oft im letzten Moment, so dass in aller Eile eine neue Karikatur verfasst werden musste. Die rekonstruierten Exemplare tragen in der Regel die Nummer der Ausgabe, gefolgt von dem Zusatz "b" oder "bis". Unsere Sammlung enthält zusätzlich zu den regulären Ausgaben ca. 30 dieser "bis"-Nummern. - Teils mit geglättetem Mittelfalz. Papierbedingt etwas gebräunt und teils mit Gebrauchsspuren. L'Éclipse was published from January 1868 to June 1876 and was mainly illustrated by André Gill. Numerous issues of the newspaper were banned by the censors, often at the last moment, so that a new caricature had to be created in a hurry. The reconstructed copies usually bear the number of the issue followed by the suffix "b" or "bis". Our collection contains about 30 of these "bis" numbers in addition to the regular issues. - Partly with smoothed centrefold. Paper somewhat browned and partly with traces of use. A few somewhat stained and with small missing parts.

The first 12 plates show studies of leaves, the following ones designs for vases, paper patterns, wallpapers etc.. Sie zeigen eine reich staffierte Außenansicht des Rathauses, Grund- und Seitenrisse sowie die prächtigen Säle und Stuben. Insbesondere die Innenansichten sehr kunstvoll und kontrastreich. - Mit 3 zusätzlich angebundenen Tafeln: Zwei gefaltete Pläne von Augsburg von Wolfgang Kilian von 1660 und vier Soldaten (diese stockfleckig, ein Plan mit Einrissen in den Falzen). - Im oberen weißen Rand mit zwei Wasserflecken. Vereinzelt mit geringen Stockflecken. Insgesamt gut erhalten. With engraved title and 16 engraved plates, one of them folded. Mod. HPgt. with marbled boards (somewhat rubbed and browned). - Second edition (first edition 1732). - Title page and captions in German and French. The plates engraved by Johann Georg Pintz after Salomon Kleiner. They show a richly staffed exterior view of the town hall, ground and side plans as well as the magnificent halls and parlors. Especially the interior views very artistic and rich in contrast. - With 3 additional bound plates: two folded plans of Augsburg by Wolfgang Kilian from 1660 and four soldiers (these foxed, one plan with tears in the folds). - In the upper white margin with two water stains. Partly with minor foxing. Overall well preserved.

Schweinsldrbd. auf Holzdeckeln mit Blindprägung und Messingbeschlägen (Schließen fehlen, Einband restauriert und Rücken neu aufgezogen, dabei Vorsätze erneuert). Wohl 24. Ausgabe der Dilherr-Bibel (Ausgabe ohne die Kurfürstenporträts). - Jahn S. 134 - Die ersten Bll. im Rand verstärkt bzw. mit kleinen Hinterlegungen, Frontispiz fehlt, Titelbl. und 2 Kupfertafeln in Kopie, ohne die Kurfürsten-Porträts. - Teils gebräunt und etwas fleckig, insgesamt ordentliches, restauriertes Exemplar.
