Framed gouache appears in good order. Long gouache with some nibbles to the edges, the lower edge with a small tear, and the corners all with small pin holes. The surface a little toned and the reversed foxed. All loose landscapes with some foxing and creasing. The mounted oil on card with some minor discolouration, but otherwise good. The charcoal landscape with some minor foxing to the top right corner and mount, but otherwise good.

A GROUP OF SOUTH-EAST ASIAN OBJECTS INCLUDING A FOLIO OF CHINESE GOUACHE PAINTED FIGURES ON RICE PAPERLate 19th Century & LaterTwelve small sheets depicting figures employed in domestic tasks, contained within a glass mounted case, 7.5 x 11cm; three Chinese Export tortoiseshell models, including a junk and rickshaw, 17cm long and 13cm long; a horn model cobra, 15cm high; a Japanese Kutani porcelain model of a sleeping cat, 7cm high; two Japanese ceramic saki cups; a hardstone mouse and small bowl; a hardwood figure of a Hindu god, 15cm high; together with a quantity of other pieces Condition report: Rice paper sheets invariable torn at the edges in places, one now in two fragments, others torn across. Case dirty. Model junk with main sail loose and threads broken. Other pieces with the inevitable scuffs, scrathes, dents, small chips and marks commensurate with wear, use and age.
