No obvious defects to illustrations which all lift as designed. Boards worn and stained, impact mark to upper board.

Original Artwork‘101 Drawings by R.J.B.’, A superb collection of 79 watercolours, pen and ink, sepia and pencil sketches, many titled, dated (1833-35) and initialed (R.J.B.), on 73 sheets, bound in a folio album. Subjects include historical and religious scenes, classical figures, portraits and Yorkshire topographical views including Hardraw Force, Kilnsey, Aysgarth Force, Dent Dale, Ingleton, Muker, etc., sheet size 350mm x 240mm, all edges gilt, bound October 1835 in full morocco gilt, with gilt title to upper board, armorial bookplate of C. Robert Bignold. Unfortunately the binding has been broken internally to extract the missing illustrations but the joints are intact.[The artist has not been identified. The Bignold family founded the Norwich Union insurance company.]

The Counterfeit Plan is a British crime drama, screenplay by James Eastwood, directed by Montgomery Tully, starring Zachary Scott and Peggie Castle and featured professional snooker world champion, Horace Lindrum in a small role playing himself. .
