PERTH.`, Jones patent rotary-underlever, carved percussion fences, non-rebounding sidelocks with bolted hammers, fine scroll engraving surrounding scenes of stag and doe, retaining some colour-hardening, 14 5/8in. well-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, horn pistolgrip-cap (, star engraved sling eye, and engraved, chequered buttplate, the stock with a finely engraved patch box, a central red stag surrounded by floral and scroll motifs, the head of the stock with v-shaped wooden insert, weight 8lb. 10oz., in its brass-cornered oak and leather case with morocco leather lining and some accessories.
