GOLFING INTEREST: An unusual Edwardian silver vesta case, Birmingham 1906, probably 'JP', of circular form and depicting golfers to one side, 4cm diameter, weight 25gms CONDITION REPORT: Suspension lug removed from side by hinge leaving small patch, small dent to back, some surface scratching and wear and some definition lost to high points. But still a good looking piece.

The colours perhaps slightly discoloured but generally good with blind studio stamps lower left. Signed in pencil lower right, the whle appears slightly browned where it has been in sunlight. Taped to the two upper corners, some very limited signs of foxing, together with one small patch to the bottom right hand corner. Various general signs of wear and tear throughout

A German bolt action 'Schutzen' target rifle by W.Wiesecke Leipzig, the rifle is built on a 1871 Mauser bolt action and is chambered for the 9.5 x 42R cartridge, the stock is profusely carved and bi-metal inlay to breech, the butt has built-in patch box which is heavenly engraved as is the action, the rifle overall is in excellent condition (rear target sight and rod missing) 9.5 x 42R obsolete cal, no licence required to purchase only

Heriz runner, north west Persia, circa 1920s, 14ft. 6in. x 2ft. 10in. 4.42m. x 0.86m. Slight wear in places; repair/repiled patch to lower part of field right hand side, approx. 6in. x 8in. 15cm. x 20cm., small patch to left side outer guard top end; spots of old moth damage; slight loss to both ends. Dark blue field with single column of foliate medallions with floral forms in the field; camel floral main border and terracotta outer guard.
Two Ersari Turkmen torbas, south west Turkmenistan, early 20th century, the first by the Beshir, 1ft. 7in. x 4ft. 10in. 0.48m. x 1.47m. Overall wear, heavy wear lower end centre with fabric patch verso; the second, 11in. x 4ft. 3in. 28cm. x 1.30m. Reduced in width by horizontal cut left side; some repiling; remains of fringing to lower end. Stencil no. S21267 verso. (2)

Two and a half large 'Lenkoran' medallions on a terracotta field with narrow ivory main border.

Bridges to verso or head of some plates and with notes and calculations on final leaf, rather soiled and stained, one or two plates shaved, contemporary sheep, worn, small square patch cut from leather of upper cover, spine defective, covers almost detached, [Henrey 240; Hunt 316; Wing M1568], small 4to, for P.Parker, 1670. ⁂ Scarce. Meager was gardener to Sir Philip Hollman, at Warkworth in Northamptonshire; the work is aimed at the owners of medium-sized gardens and includes discussion of mazes and parterres. ESTC lists only 4 copies in the UK including this one.

WW2 South Staffordshire Regiment Air Landing Officers Cap Badge and Collar Badge Set, fine example of the bronze officers cap badge with blade fittings and Staffordshire knot bronze collar badges with two lugs on the reverse of each. The badges all have the oval “Holland Patch” backing. (3 items)

1945 British Airborne Forces Beret, fine example of the Maroon beret issued to the British Airborne forces, having leather trim and leather backing patch to the side gromets. Beret was manufactured by Kangol Wear Limited and has clear 1945 date. Beret has been fitted with a reproduction cap badge for the Artists Rifles who wore these berets when 21st Special Air Service (S.A.S) in 1947. The beret is in excellent overall condition showing hardly any service wear.
Imperial German Hussar Regiment No5 Tunic (Attila), madder red cloth body with silvered white braid frogging to the front and white metal fittings. Stand up collar with braid border. Cuffs with knotted braid decoration. Reverse tails with knotted braid and white metal fittings. Cloth lining to the interior with patch repair. Generally good condition.
SS Standarte No2 Collar Patches, bullion embroidered in silver wire SS runes and number 2 on black felt cloth with silver wire and black twist cord piping. Accompanied by collar patch with two single rank pips for SS-Oberscharfuhrer. RZM paper label to the reverse of rune collar patch. Remain in good condition.
Waffen-SS M-37 Combat Tunic, fine example of the green wool M-37 pattern combat tunic as issued to soldiers of the Waffen-SS. Tunic has embroidered SS-Totenkopf skull collar patch and rank collar patch for SS-Rottenfuhrer. Tunic also complete with matched pair of Waffen-SS red piped combat tunic shoulder boards, bevo woven Waffen-SS arm eagle and Waffen-SS pattern rank chevron. Complete with all the original buttons. Lining to the interior remains in good condition with ink issue stampings and Berlin makers mark. The tunic shows some service wear but is still generally very good overall condition.
