An RAF World War II Sidcot flying suit dated 1941 numbered 1621825 to Sgt Pilot CW (Freddie) Hulance, a Lancaster bomber pilot of 227 Sqn RAF who took part in the Dresden raid, accompanied by photos of him in the Sidcot suit and other photos in uniform etc. plus a leave pass, rail warrant, his pen knife and fork, aircraft recognition booklets etc. Later newspaper clippings of the Raid, VHS videos of his interviews on BBC and German TV and related plaques etc. A large sized suit for height 6` in good condition with a cartoon dog patch sewn to the front, a rubbed section beneath the harness buckle area and all zips functioning
A good quality c.1900 mahogany coin cabinet, the fall front enclosing ten slides, each with ivory pulls and to a plinth base, width 41cm. CONDITION REPORT: Case retains a very good colour, has an old patch repair to top left hand corner approx 5 x 5cm. Each slide is cut with circles to house various size coins, it is possible the plinth base are constructed from later mouldings.

Sherwood Foresters Victorian Officer’s Scarlet Tunic A good example of the pre-1902 pattern Field Officer’s Full Dress tunic, with white facings and Victorian gilt buttons. The collar and sleeves with gold Russia braid decoration for a Major, and Victorian rank-badges on shoulder-cords. Post-1902 skirt-ornaments. Cuffs lengthened by approximately 2 inches, collar-badges absent, stitching faults to lining; scarlet cloth slightly faded, with discoloured patch to left skirt.

A circa 1790 Bilston enamel patch box of oval waisted form, decorated on a pale yellow ground with floral sprays to the main body, the lid inscribed "A token of regard" within a floral border, opening to reveal a mirror, 5 cm wide CONDITION REPORTS Lid has had restoration and the top of the lid appears to have been removed at some point and the top completely re-painted and repaired and then replaced, mirror with tarnish and pitting, body of the patch box with light general wear, some scuffs and scratches and some small hairline cracks to the enamelling to base/sides.

A circa 1780 Staffordshire enamel patch box of rectangular waisted form, the main body decorated with panels of landscape scenes on a pale blue and white ground, the lid decorated with two figures by a river with mausoleum in the background, opening to reveal an interior inscribed "Secret en Amour", 4.8 cm wide CONDITION REPORTS Metal plate to interior of lid very rusted, glass/mirror surface missing, base of patch box with scuffs, side with chips and some losses to the enamelling, chips to corners and edges, picture to top of lid has a matt finish to the centre and may have had restoration and re-painting.
An early 19th Century Bilston type enamel patch box of waisted oval form, the main body blue ground, the lid decorated with two women and anchor, a battle raging in the background, inscribed "Hope Stands Beholding Her Captain's Most Glorious Fame with her Trumpet Sounds Nelson Victorious", 5.4 cm wide CONDITION REPORTS Interior with cracks and crazing to enamel and mirror plate very deteriorated, exterior - base also with some crazing/cracks and enamel, and some cracks to enamel to sides - sides have quite a lumpy appearance, top of lid shows signs of wear and chips and various restoration.

A late 18th Century Bilston type enamel patch box of waisted rectangular form, the main body pale blue ground, the lid inscribed "Together in my fair one meet virtue fair and manners sweet", opening to reveal a mirror, 3.8 cm wide CONDITION REPORTS Lid with wear and some cracks and crazing to enamel, blue base is without cracks and crazing and appears to have been re-enamelled, interior - mirror plate is very tarnished and deteriorated.

A Regency ladies mahogany and ebony strung desk, the plain top above a tambour enclosing a pigeon holed interior with four small drawers, the writing surface pulling out with tooled and tooled leather slope, over two frieze drawers and square tapered legs, 90.5 cm wide CONDITION REPORTS Has knocks, dumps, scratches, small chips to edges for veneer throughout the piece conducive to age and day to day wear. The back panel has some splits and there is a large split running from right edge to approx half way across (please see photo) As you look at the desk the left side has a split running across the panel from back to front and several downwards splits running down the panel towards the front edge and various other small splits on side. A small patch repair approx 2 x 2 cm to wards the back edge of the other side panel, various other knock, dumps and scratches to this panels, where the inlay runs across the panel there is splitting to the join from drying out. The top has a split running from left edge to almost a third of way across the top and several other smaller splits, there is a patch repair to back right corner approx 6 x 2 cm, a similar smaller one to back left corner and a small repair to centre back edge 1 x 1 cm approx. The tambour show general wear, knock, dump, some small chips to edges throughout but sound. All out handles and probably not original, The interior shows general wear throughout, lifting to veneers to desk base - left side and right side both has several cracks to veneers running from out edge across to well, leather is worn with some cracking and splitting, replacement hinges to writing surface. Drawers - knocks and bumps throughout with some veneer missing to edge - see photos, legs again very similar to drawers, overall pretty piece but would benefit greatly from some good restoration.

A Canon VI-T, serial no. 603170, G, with Canon meter, f/1.2 lens, P, cap, boxed lens hood, instructions Body is clean - signs of light use only. It seems to work well - rangefinder works but patch a bit dull. Meter responds to light and retains translucent baffle. Lens has signs of moderate to heavy use with paint loss on barrel. Optics show extensive internal clouding, but might clean up if dismantled. Lens hood is immaculate as is original leather case; cartonboard container failing at glue seam but in reasonable condition. Clean instruction book.

KRAY REG: (1933-2000) English Gangster who, with his brother Ron, were the foremost perpetrators of organised crime in London during the 1950s & 60s. Group of five A.Ls.S., Dad, twelve pages (total), 4to, n.p. (various prisons including Nottingham), August - December (1991), all to Brad Lane. In the first letter Kray states that he and Brad's mother must get together to 'patch up our differences as the way it is it is no good to any of us….Your mother and I can sort out our differences easy enough with a bit of give and take both ways. I know this.', in further letters referring to money, telling Brad 'Don't ever doubt me', enquiring about a page of manuscript from a book about villains which he has mislaid etc., also including a further two A.Ls.S., Reg, five pages (total), 4to, 1st March 1991 & 26th June (1991), each to Kim, in the letters referring to various friends and business associates ('Terry went bankrupt'…..'I have no wish to see Rose….my visits are too precious'…..'Tell him he owes me a favour. don't trust him at all. He is dangerous and does not keep word….') etc. Five of the letters are accompanied by the original envelopes. Generally VG, 7
[CASEMENT ROGER]: (1864-1916) Irish Patriot, Revolutionary and Nationalist, executed for treason. [SHAW GEORGE BERNARD] (1856-1950) Irish Playwright, Nobel Prize winner for Literature, 1925. T.L.S., Blanche Patch, by Shaw's secretary, one page, oblong 8vo, Whitehall Court, London, 7th September 1934, to Julius Klein. Patch writes on behalf of Shaw, stating, in part, 'Mr. Bernard Shaw asks me to say that he never met Casement and knew nothing about him that is not common property. He knew his cousin Mrs. Parry; and through her he strongly urged Casement not to make a lawyer's defence, which would inevitably hang him. Mr. Shaw drew up a plan for his procedure in court. But the lawyers over ruled it, and he was hanged….' Accompanied by the original envelope. Together with Rufus Isaacs (1860-1935) 1st Marquess of Reading. English Lawyer & Politician. Presided at the trial of Casement. T.L.S., Reading, one page, 8vo, Walmer Castle, Kent, 25th September 1934, to Julius Klein. Reading apologises for the delay in replying to his correspondent's letter and states 'As I was the presiding judge at the trial of Casement I cannot express opinion upon it or him.' Also including Alexander M. Sullivan (1871-1959) Serjeant-at-Law. Irish Lawyer, led the counsel for the defence in Casement's treason trial. Vintage signed 5 x 6.5 bookweight photograph of Sullivan seated in a three quarter length pose wearing his robes. Signed in blue ink, in later years, with his name alone, largely across a clear area at the base of the image. Neatly mounted. Further including Michael Doyle (1876-1960) American Lawyer, a member of the defending counsel at the trial of Casement. Vintage signed 4 x 5 bookweight photograph of Doyle in a head and shoulders pose. Signed with his name alone in blue ink, across a darker area of the image, although with reasonable contrast.
