A late 19th/early 20th Century Chinese censer in the form of an elephant, his head turned looking behind CONDITION REPORTS Has a hole evident to the base. Split to the bronze especially to two legs together with a possible repair. Some signs of pitting and a "patch" to the elephant's neck. Surface scratches, accretions, build-up of dirt and dust in areas, some small dents in areas and nicks to the bronze. A small chip to the area where it was possibly a lid. There is no lid. There is a crack to ther top of one of the hind legs of the elephant. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use - see images for details, 20 cm x 25.5 cm. Weighs approximately 3.3 kilograms.
Circa 3000 BC. A carved siltstone cylinder seal with pierced handle to end, depicting six fish, accompanied by a museum quality impression and a typed, signed scholarly note by W.G. Lambert, late Professor of Assyriology at the University of Birmingham 1970-1993, which states: 'With pierced handle like reed hut. Design: two rows of three fish, one row of pots with spouts, two linear grids; one broken patch. Mesopotamian, c. 3000 BC. Condition good save for damaged patch.' 7.77 grams, 28 mm (1 1/8"). Property of a Mayfair, London, UK, ancient art collector; acquired in the 1970s-1980s; inventory number 85. Fair condition; chipped.
3rd-1st millennium BC. A group of ten seals including three accompanied by typed and signed notes by the late W.G. Lambert, late Professor of Assyriology at the University of Birmingham 1970-1993, which state: (T-582) 'Stamp Seal of Dark-coloured Stone, 24 x 23 x 9mm. In shape this is a rough hemispheroid with a flat patch on the back, pierced diagonally. The design, in drill holes, shows a horned animal down on its front paws. This comes from Iran or west central Asia and dates to c. 3400-2800 B.C. It is badly worn in parts, but the design is complete and clear.'; (T-638) 'Stamp Seal of Black/Green Stone, 22 x 21 x 6mm. This is a rhomb with notched sides, pierced twice, through opposite corners. The designs on both sides are erotic. The one shows a woman with legs apart, the other shows a scene of coitus a posteriori, with the woman drinking from a pot through a straw. This comes from west central Asia and dates to c. 2300-1800 B.C. It has an extremely rare pair of designs for this area and period. It is a little damaged, and the designs have been cleaned out.'; (R-84) 'Stamp Seal of Lapis, 14 x 12 x 8mm. When complete this was roughly square, with a flat face, notched sides, and a loop handle on the back. The face has a design entirely of drill holes, consisting of a simple cross with decorated ends to each arm, and triangular fillings within the triangles so created. This comes from west central Asia and dates to c. 2300-2000 B.C. One side is broken off and missing, but what remains is in good condition.' 57 grams total, 11-30mm (1/2-1 1/4"). The Signo collection, the property of a West London businessman, formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s; collection numbers 1955, 2927, 6812, R-84, T-544, T-582, T-638, V-33, V-273, W-246, academically researched and catalogued by the late Professor Lambert in the early 1990s. Dr. Bonewitz notes: 'The seals are made from serpentine (2), jasper (1), limestone (4), lapis lazuli (3).' [10] Fine condition.

A 1950's Swedish cocktail sofa, the striped button upholstery with stained beech arms and legs CONDITION REPORT: Some minor wear including a patch on the back (illustrated), generally good for age and use. Width 135 cm. Height of back 89 cm. Depth 75 cm. The dangling trim was presumably for attaching the seat to the base- it is not part of the seat itself. The finish has rubbed away at the base of the feet- see images.
A Circa 1925 Art Deco Black Opal and Diamond Ring, an oval cabochon opal in a claw setting, to forked old cut diamond set shoulders, total estimated diamond weight 0.40 carat approximately, finger size N see illustration . The ring is in good to fair condition, the shank has been resized and is thin, the opal has a chip/surface reaching fracture visible to one short edge appearing as a white patch. Gross weight 4.3 grams. Condition Report made 5th September 2018.
An Early 19th Century Kingwood, Marquetry and Parquetry Secretaire à Abattant, the deep frieze drawer above a fall enclosing a leather writing surface, pigeon holes and drawers, with two cupboard doors inlaid with shell patera, all between canted stiles, 89cm by 43cm by 147cmRather tired with various small patches of veneer missing throughout. Natural? vey fine splits throughout timber. Top drawer and fall front have a fine split running down with the lower section of the cupboard doors having bad splits running through the centre and through the shell inlay. Repair work and later elements to the legs. Front right leg spliced. Various small sections throughout with patch repairs. Interior in reasonable condition. Leather is scuffed and worn. 171117
A late 18th century enamelled circular pill or patch box, titled to the cover 'A gift of a friend' 2.1cm diameter enclosing a Charles III coin dated 1781 (2) CONDITION REPORT: The top with a chip and cracks, some cracks to the exterior and interior of the base and with a slight loss to the underside of the base.

The Police Jacket has Los Angeles Police embroidered patches to each upper sleeves with a smaller insignia patch below. Each sleeve features a seamlessly integral long claw chrome effect arm.
