A pair of Edwardian mahogany Adam revival demi-lune side tables with carved moulded tops above foliate decorated frieze and fluted square section tapering legs to turned feet, each width 103.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Generally good condition, some small scuffs and scratches throughout. A few chips to frieze areas close to joins with tops of table and a small patch of rising veneer on one in same area. One top has more marks than the other, including some ring marks.

A pair of 19th century Canton enamel vases and covers, the figure reserves painted on yellow grounds of scrolling lotus, the mask handles on the shoulders with ruyi lappet bands, 30.5cm (12 in) high (4) The mask handles have losses of enamel and would have had rings in the mouths. Four tôle tea canisters, comprising: a pair of green painted examples numbered '12' and '14', converted into table lamps, together with a red painted example with a twin light fitting, a black japanned canister with lid and a modern tea canister lamp base, with shades, 19th century and later, 73.3cm high, max. (5)Provenance: The Property of a Lady, removed from a cottage on the Stourhead Estate. Lot 162A – tôle tea canisters. The black and gilt example has not been lamped and is still a canister. With overall losses to the gild decoration and with further losses to the black ground with one large dent to the shoulder and general wear, and further smaller dents and flakes to paint. There is a modern canister style table lamp which isn’t a canister. This is in generally good order but with some surface scratches marks and minor flakes to the decoration. The pair of green canisters which have been lamped. These are relatively worn with losses to the decoration to the gilt and the green and there are quite a few dents to the body especially where it meets the base. One lid is a little loose. The red canister again has been converted into a lamp. The lid is slightly loose and faded, the red is faded somewhat and there is a shadow patch to the front. With some loses to the paint decoration especially to the top and the edge where the top meets the body of the canister. With losses to the banded decoration. Generally the odd dent consistent with age and use.
A Chinese carpet, decorated with phoenix, first half 20th century, 352 x 276cm. Lot 21 – A Chinese carpet. Some overall areas of wear especially to the other borders and wings of the birds and the inner spandrel flowers on the corners. With some small patch repairs to pile. Some areas of colour difference between the rich blues. A small patch of pile loss to one outer border and the edges with some losses and small areas. Some minor wear and staining visible.
