A George III mahogany and crossbanded bureau, the fall-front with well fitted interior above two short and three long graduated drawers raised on ogee bracket feet, overall of good colour, width 115cm. CONDITION REPORT: Old repairs throughout including unsightly patch to top right drawer, moulding replaced beneath fall-front, upright mouldings to side of fall-front replaced, overall of excellent colour but with many repairs.
An 18th Century Indo-Persian Shamshir, with 80cm single edge curved steel blade, the Turkish style gilt copper hilt with lion head pommel, the crossguard with langets set with polished horn roundels and enamel simulating semi-precious stones, the gold velvet covered scabbard with gilded mounts with similar decoration, 102.5cm . Pitting and grey patching to the blade, with a rectangular rust patch towards the tip. Wear to the gilding. Loss of some enamelling.
A William IV 1821 Pattern Light Cavalry Officer's Sword, each side of the 90.5 cm quill back steel blade etched with the crowned Royal cypher and fruiting oak branches, signed Moore, Late Bicknell & Moore, 1, Old Bond Street, London, the steel three bar hilt with wire bound fishskin grip, gold bullion sword knot (lacks scabbard), 105cm. Blade tip slightly bent and with small patch of corrosion. Otherwise allover light rusting. Hilt similar. Slight wear to fishskin and small length of wire binding raised. Retaining ring to base of grip slightly loose. Sword knot tatty.
A NEAR PAIR OF REGENCY WALNUT, BRASS AND EBONY INLAID FOLD OVER 'D' SHAPE CARD TABLES, green baize lined interiors, supported on baluster and ring turned columns to a shaped plinth with four scrolled and outswept legs with brass hairy paw caps and castors, width 92.5cm and 91.5cm, depth 46.5cm and 44cm, height 76cm and 75.5cm (2) (condition: both tables are faded to the tops, one table has a small patch of veneer missing on the back right hand corner, both tables are ‘Smiling’, gap along front edge to a maximum of around 8.5cm on one and 8cm on the other, there is a split to the left hand side frieze just after the inlaid panel and the inlaid panel has been glued, there is also a split in the wood to the front right section of frieze on both , some of the brass inlay is lifting on the legs, the other table has splits in the top of the table and the veneered border has more splits around the outer edge, this table has an oval dot part way down each leg, left leg has been broken off and has a split into the rectangular base)

Overall even wear with re-woven patch lower left corner; rectangular fabric patch lower end main border right side; fabric patch outer guard upper right side; fabric conservation strips to top edge in places. The guls each with silk centres. Flowering plants in the lower elem. Finely woven with velvety wool and soft handle.
