A 19th Century Tower Percussion Cap Brunswick Rifle, the 76.5cm steel barrel with hinged leaf rear sight and standard bayonet bar, the side lock stamped with crowned VR 1857, TOWER, walnut full stock with brass fore-end tip, ramrod pipes and double scroll trigger guard, the butt stamped with "Crow`s foot" over the letter "I" and "TOWER LONDON 1864" within a garter strap enclosing a crowned WD arrow, and set with a double compartmented patch box with brass hinged cover, steel ramrod and sling swivels with later webbing strap.
