COLLINS MICHAEL: (1930- ) American Astronaut, Command Module Pilot of Apollo XI, 1969. Signed colour 14 x 11 photograph, the composite image featuring individual portraits of the crew members of Apollo XI, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins, each standing in half length poses wearing their white spacesuits, also with images of the Apollo XI mission patch and the plaque left on the Moon on 20th July 1969. Signed ('M. Collins') by Collins in black ink with his name alone to a clear area at the centre of the image. A United States postage stamp commemorating the First Man on the Moon is neatly affixed to the upper edge and bears two post marks dated 20th July and 9th September 1969. Military Uniform - A German Third Reich Waffen SS field - grey tunic with five button front, satin lining marked 45 100 70 S43, pleated pockets with scalloped flaps and buttons, split cuffs each with two button fastening with internal pocket (First Aid dressing pocket) and four internal button holed tabs. The tunic bears badges shown on illustrated pictures comprising SS Sigrunen collar patch, arm with Bevo SS sleeve eagle and other. A pair of Waffen SS field - grey wool uniform trousers, with a four-plus-two button fly closure, angled slash pockets with button, a horizontal slash watch pocket with flap and button and a single seat pocket with button closure. Four suspended buttons are located inside the waistband, which is stamped 74 110, with sewn-in webbing tabs to the front and back with button closure. There are three button holes with fabric ties to each leg opening, the trousers measure 36" waist with overall leg measurement 43".A field - grey cap bearing two badges as shown on the illustrated picturesEstimate £1000 - £2000

A French 12 bore Model An IX flintlock cavalry pistol, 16” overall, barrel 9”, the breech engraved “Z”, the flat lock having bevelled pan and frizzen and old replacement cock, walnut fullstock with regulation brass mounts and old steel ramrod. QGC (worn overall, the stock with patch of worm above lock, the lock apparently lacking any internal mechanism)
A US Civil War period .50” Sharps Patent “New Model 1863” falling block underlever breech loading percussion carbine, 39” overall, barrel 22”, number 74894, the lock marked “C Sharps Pat/ Oct 25th 1852” and with Lawrence patent pellet primer, halfstocked with steel mounts including patch box in the butt, dome headed nail decoration, and saddle bar with ring. A double barrelled 25 bore (.577”) percussion sporting rifle, by Isaac Hollis of Birmingham, 45½” overall, barrels 29” with folding ladder rearsight to 400 yards, top rib re-engraved “Isaac Hollis & Sons, Weaman Row, Birmingham” ; plain locks retaining traces of line engraved borders; dark walnut halfstocks having sharply chequered fore end and wrist and vacant shield shaped escutcheon; plain steel mounts including scrolled extension to trigger guard and large patch box in the butt; with eyes for sling swivels and brass mounted ebony ramrod. A rare ex-shop-stock Corgi Toys diecast model No. 261 James Bond 007 Aston Martin DB5. The model being very near mint in condition, within a very near mint original box, and a similar condition inner display stand. Comes complete with the ejector seat figure, fabric patch, ' Top Secret ' instructions and the original paper bag in which these were contained. One of the best we've seen. Rare in this condition.
A late-18th century French Canadian pine Side Cabinet (possibly Quebec), the moulded top above two full-height doors, each with a central decorative cross motif and enclosing shelves, raised on stile feet, 126cm wide x 43cm deep x 127.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: There is a 12cm x 7cm patch of wood missing from the left hand side moulded plank top, top with scuff marks and ring marks, the cross form moulded panel doors original with original hinges, the door retaining catch is a later replacement, there is a diamond shaped patch to an old knot mark on the right hand cross panel and a diamond shaped patch to the right hand door, left hand side upright door rail, overall scuffs, wear and tear commensurate with age.
An unusual mid-19th century French Canadian pine Side Cabinet, the three-quarter galleried overhanging top above a single central drawer, further over two panelled doors enclosing a single central shelf, raised on moulded plinth base, 112cm wide x 49cm deep x 107cm high (highest) CONDITION REPORT: The galleried top with water marks, ring marks and old patch reparation and staining (see images), the front frieze drawer with old spliced reparation lower left corner, overall surface scratches and wear and tear commensurate with age.
A good early-19th century French Canadian (possibly Quebec) pine Armoire/Side Cupboard of small proportions, the angular top above two full-height doors with fielded panels enclosing an array of shelves, carved shaped apron and on stile feet, 127cm wide x 54cm deep x 154cm high CONDITION REPORT: The planked top having a 44cm historical gouge to the top (see image), the right front panel door thumbnail edge with historical patch and reparations, both front stile feet spliced and replaced, overall scuffs, wear and tear commensurate with age.
A very rare Bilston enamel souvenir patch box with Guernsey interest, c.1780, the hinged enamel lid decorated with a central picture of a frigate flanked by the words 'A Trifle from Guernsey', within a border of laurel leaves on a white ground, the brass rimmed lid opening to reveal a mirror and a white enamel void for storage, the main body sky blue in colour, 2in. (5cm.) long.
1852 1c black/magenta and 4c black/deep blue (SG 9/10), former circular ink patch on face, small tear and surface defects at top and lower left, used by neat BERBICE cds for JY 25 1853, latter extensive loss of surface colour due to washing, also some damage to "4 CENTS", upper frame line and elsewhere, this used but cancel not legible, both have four margins, representative space-fillers of these rare stamps, BPA (2017) and Holcombe (1993) certs respectively, cat £17,500
Two Staffordshire enamel patch boxes, c.1760-80, of oval form, the lids painted in black with inscriptions, one 'May trade increase And bless our Isle, And Commerce make This Land to smile', the other 'Have Communion with few, Be familiar with one, Deal justly with all And speak evil of none', on green and pink bases respectively, with mirrors inside the lids, some good restoration, 4.3cm. American Airborne Insignia Grouping, consisting of sterling silver paratroopers jump wings made by N S Meyer Inc New York with pins to the reverse, paratroopers wing stamped J R Gaunt to the reverse and with brooch pin fitting, 82nd Airborne uniform patch, Airborne Troop Carrier arm patch, Airborne / Glider garrison cap cloth badge, silvered pin back officers rank bar and a bullion single rank bar. All believed to be of WW2 vintage. (7 items)
