Repair/patch in to bottom right hand corner. Crumpling to paper top right hand corner. Pasted along top edge, centre right to backing and bottom. Some foxing to map. Repaired tear to Gulf of Riga on top margin c5cm. Small repair to mid-centre bottom margin c1cm.

A Sharp's Model 1855 British .577 Calibre Breech Loading Percussion Carbine, the 48.5cm round barrel with hinged leaf rear sight, the tang stamped SHARP'S PATENT 1848 and numbered 21112, with traces of a proof mark, the right side with Maynard's tape primer stamped EDWARD MAYNARD PATENTEE 1845, with combined trigger guard/loading lever operating the falling trapdoor, the left side of the breech with vacant hole for saddle bar attachment (missing), walnut fore-end with iron barrel band, the butt with brass curved butt plate and hinged patch boxAction works, loading lever very loose and retaining catch is stuck open. Metalwork is very pitted with any proof marks mainly indecipherable. Fine crack to underside of fore-end. Saddle bar and ring missing.

A Victorian walnut framed four section conversation seat with upholstered back, arms and seat on squat cabriole legs to scroll feet CONDITION REPORTS Some damage to the carving to the top. Some losses and broken sections. Some evidence of repairs and re-gluing in various places. Signs of filler also. Various scratches, scuffs, knocks, marks, etc to the frame in various places, together with some larger scratches. Upholstery stained red in a large patch covering two seats and the backs. Some splits to the wood. Top does not quite fit base properly. Will need some attention. All over various general signs of wear and tear conducive with age and use.

A Georgian oak long case clock, 8 day movement with rolling moon, brass and steel dial inscribed 'Coates Wigan', height 220cm.Condition: A little damage around the window frame. Top finial and moulding are off but present and undamaged. Some scuffs to base near feet. Small patch of damage to right side of case. Some damage to top of scrolls. Dial is in good order, possibly restored. Key, pendulum and weights present and appears to be in working order.
