Val Musetti 1989 race-worn Shoei helmet with two racesuits and accessories, a white Shoei helmet with replica Wayne Gardner design in blue, gold and red, FISA/ ACU approved, with visor and helmet bag; two Nomex racesuits by 'Formula One', each bearing his embroidered name and blood group, one in plain red with Champion and Goodyear logo patches, the other in black with red trimming, a Yokohama logo patch on the right breast, the belt with FIA approval patch, a pair of 'Monza' driving boots from Adidas, two pairs of gauntlet gloves from Kiwi and Nomex, also a Nomex balaclava and vest; sold with a digital image of the red suit in use and a 1987 Spa circuit map with personal notation (qty.). In the 1980s Val Musetti raced sportscars internationally, including a Porsche 962 in the FIA World Sportscars Championship, and competed at Le Mans. He was Christopher Reeve's stunt double in Superman I & II and appeared in many other Hollywood films, including Batman and James Bond.

In the 1970s Valentino Musetti was well known to spectators as the driver who did the stunts in the film 'The Italian Job', the original version starring Michael Caine. Although this stunt work paid for his motor racing, filming schedules regularly disrupted any championship chances, though driving the Dave Price Racing March-Ford V6, he came close to winning the 1977 Shell Sport series, in which these items were used.
ARSENAL GOALKEEPER SHIRT Unusual green long sleeve Arsenal Centenary Year goalkeeper shirt. The shirt was issued by Umbro and has the Centenary Year 1985 badge and JVC sponsor with number 1 on the back. However there is a green Adidas patch sewn over the Umbro emblem and the Umbro tag has been cut out of the neck. The shirt was issued for the 1985/6 season by Umbro, however in 1986/7 Arsenal changed their shirt manufacturer to Adidas. It is very unlikely that this shirt would have been available in the Arsenal Club Shop, therefore we can only surmise that the shirt was used for the Arsenal Reserve or Youth team. Good

A J & W Ridgway porcelain cream bowl and cover with indistinct red painted pattern no. to base, c1825-30, 21.5cm across and a John Ridgway teapot numered 2/1917 in red, 25.5cm across - Part of a private owner collection CONDITION REPORT: Cream bowl - Lid: Very small unglazed area to the inner rim. Extremely minor wear to the gilding on the finial. Slight pitting to the glaze. Bowl: One handle broken and re-glued. Brown stain to the interior. Some crazing to the glaze. Two hairline cracks running in from the outer rim and a crack beneath the glaze running around the inner rim. Some pitting to the glaze on the underside of the foot. Teapot - Lid: Firing crack within the rose head finial. Some yellowing to the glaze on the finial and a small patch beneath it. Pot: Several hairline cracks on the exterior of the body above and on the foot (approximately 15), and also around the spout (approximately 9). The end of the spout has been broken and re-glued. Very minor scratches to the enamel decoration. There is a crack running around the top section of the handle near the join to the body.
An early 19th century Derby porcelain two-handled sauce tureen and lid, hand painted with sprigs of red and blue flowes with gilt foliage and detail, raised on lion paw feet with lion mask terminals to handles and feet, 17.5cm across x 13.5cm high, and a matching stand, 22.5cm x 18cm, each with red painted standard mark - Part of a private owner collection CONDITION REPORT: The glaze is crazed to all pieces. Lid - Wear to gilt on the handle, lion's mask terminals and around the rim of the spoon hole. One flower has a flaked patch of blue enamel. Tureen - All areas of the gilt have patches of wear except the rim and the leaf decoration. There is brown staining to the body by one of the handles around the lion's mask terminal. Some small areas of enamel have flaked from the flowers. There is a dark brown firing fault (dot) on the rim. Stand - The gilt rim is worn. There is slight yellowing of the glaze to one area of the rim. One small hairline crack running from the rim, approximately 8mm long
An H & R Daniel porcelain trio, Etruscan shape, decorated with a pink band containing gilt floral sprays and central enamelled floral sprays with pink flowers, the coffee cup with worn number 3877 - Part of a private owner collection CONDITION REPORT: Coffee cup - Glazed chip beneath the foot. Firing crack beneath the glaze where the top section of the handle is joined to the body. Some wear to the gilding on the handle and the decoration to the outside of the cup. Tea cup - A few scratches to the glaze on the interior of the cup. Some crazing to the glaze. Saucer - A hairline crack approximately 5cm long runs along the outer edge of the saucer. A few scratches to the glaze and a small pale patch on the pink ground.
A Black Forest monkey clock, stamped 5791, height 11cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is a small patch if paint loss to monkey's left eye. Right ear has rubbing to wood at front and slight chips to back and left ear has rubbing to back. Backs of ears not visible from the front. Below ear fur is very slightly worn, as is a small section of lower lip, otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.

Lea, 10.5cm high Condition Report: No damage or restoration. Ship painted panel has a small scratch in the sky parallel to flag. Patch were glaze hasn't taken on edge of flower panel. Very fine glaze crazing. Overall very good condition.
