A late 18th Century Bilston enamel patch box of waisted oval form, the hinged lid inscribed "A Trifle from Woburn", the base in lilac, together with a similar example inscribed "A Trifle from Hull", the top opening to reveal a mirrored interior and the base in lilac CONDITION REPORTS Each approx 4.2 cm x 3 cm. A trifle from Woburn - cracks and losses to the enamel to the top (see images), metal is tarnished, general small light scratches, crack to the interior, general wear and tear. A trifle from Hull - various cracks, losses etc from the enamel to the top, various light scratches throughout. Significant losses, cracks etc to the interior (see images).
A 19th Century oak and elm stick back Windsor elbow chair with pierced and shaped back splat, on turned and ringed legs united by stretchers, together another smaller 19th Century oak and elm Windsor stick back elbow chair (2) CONDITION REPORTS Taller chair: two sticks loose, one supporting the arm. The support of the right hand arm moves up and down. There is a large chip at the base of the seat, wear and tear all over, height from floor to top of seat is 40cm. Shorter chair: one stick doesn't fit into top. The central horizonal support is cracked, there are also holes in it where it meets the right hand side of the hoop. The right hand side arm has been nailed. There is a crack to the right hand corner of the seat which has been filled. There are signs of old worm and there is a patch which is worn down on the left hand front leg. Wear and tear all over to include splits, cracks, dents and scratches etc. The height from floor to top of seat is 40cm. Stampted to base.

A 1968 Lotus Elan S4 SE DHC, registration number FAR 88G, chassis number 8104, engine number LP12843LBA, Carnival red. Garage stored since 1998, this lady owned Type 45 special equipment model was purchased by her in 1981 for £2,500 (receipt on file). Finished in Carnival red with a black interior, hood and hood cover, it features knock off wheels with correct three blade spinners and the rare Colin Chapman signed original steering wheel. Prior to going into storage the chassis was replaced at 91,000 miles and a new engine was installed at 94,750 miles, the current recorded mileage is 101,820 miles. During storage the paintwork has deteriorated with a patch missing from the bonnet. The Elan will now require recommissioning and restoring as necessary having spent 18 years in hibernation. This charming example is offered for auction with some spares including a pair of new drive shafts. A history file accompanys the Elan with receipts, the purchase receipt, past MOTs, tax discs, original handbooks and workshop manual and wheel brace and jack in its original wallet. The Elan is now reluctantly for sale and the vendor hopes that the Elan will be purchased by a new enthusiast who will cherish and use it as Colin Chapman intended. V5, no MOT See illustrations
WORLD WAR II PHOTOGRAPHS - a collection of approximately 345 World War II photographs taken by professional military photographer William 'Bill' Jackson. Recognisable faces include Churchill and King George. Some of the images feature the 'Official War Photograph' stamp and some are marked on the reverse with names and locations. Images online are only a sample of the full lot, and there are several images presumably linked to the liberation of concentration camps showing mass graves and related scenes. Due to the sensitive nature of these images, they will only be provided on request. Lot further includes items owned by Cpl Jackson - Soldier's Service and Pay book, Campaign Star letter featuring his service history with medal ribbon affixed, cap badge, 4 medal ribbons, an RAOC patch, a Manchester military patch and two badges.

Mianeh warp-faced jajim north west Persia, about 1930s-50s, 7ft. 3in. x 7ft. 2in. 2.21m. x 2.18m. Woven in nine widths joined vertically. One outer strip with fabric joins and one corner with an unrelated jajim patch; both ends with fabric binding. Few surface marks. Together with Shahsavan jajim, north west Persia, mid-20th century, 5ft. 4in. x 4ft. 11in. 1.63m. x 1.50m. Edge cut away in one corner. Six finely woven, uneven widths joined vertically, the seams coming apart a little in places. Attractive soft palette. (2)

A late 18th Century Bilston enamel patch box of domed form with black and white dog surmount, the base inscribed "Remember her who gives this trifle", within a stylised foliate border, 3.2 cm diameter x 3 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Some light scratches throughout. Some cracks to the enamel, mainly to the base. Dirty and dark marks throughout. General signs of wear and tear.
A late 18th Century Bilston enamel patch box of oval form, the lid with black print inscribed "Who opens this must have a kiss" and a scene of a riverside with gentleman fishing and boat, the base set with floral decoration, 5 cm x 3.6 cm, together with a further Bilston enamel patch box of oval form, the top with black print of a townscape inscribed "A Present from Aylesbury", the base in pink, 5 cm x 3.4 cm CONDITION REPORTS The "Who opens this ..." box - exterior of lid has surface scratches, exterior of base has chips and scratches especially to bottom edge and underneath, also some areas of discolouration, hinge has some damage. The interior has some surface scratches, verdigris and some cracking to the left side. The interior has some verdigris and discolouration especially to the rim, there are spots of green throughout and a powdery residue to the interior. The Present from Aylesbury box has a couple of chips to the top and various pin head firing faults, the base has cracking to edge and various surface scratches and a couple of other cracks in the enamel work. The top interior has a firing fault and appear to have some drops of glue, some chips to edge of interior of lid, the metalwork has verdigris, inside base has several cracks in the enamel on sides and base and various firing faults and dark marks. Both have general wear and tear including scratches, some knocks and bumps.
A late 18th Century Bilston enamel patch box of waisted form, the dome top printed in black with scene of a monument with foliage, inscribed to base "Esteem the giver" above a plain green base, the interior set with mirror in lid, 3.5 cm x 2.7 cm, together with a similar example, the enamelled top printed with inscription "Look within and you may view a maid to whom I will be true" above an oval shaped green base, the lid opening to reveal an interior set with mirror, approx 4 cm x 3 cm CONDITION REPORTS Oval box - various cracks to the enamel to the top, some yellow stains, all over light scratches, mirror to the interior is cracked in various places, enamel to the interior has various cracks (see images). Rectangular box - various small cracks to the top, various scratches etc all over, general small signs of wear and tear.
A late 18th Century (possibly Berlin) patch box in the form of a pug with pink bow and three pups seated on a floral decorated mound, the lid with floral spray and butterfly, opening to reveal a mirrored lid, the interior set with floral sprays, the gilt work mount with scrolling decoration, 4.5 cm wide x 3.6 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Some very small light scratches. Dark mark to the dog's hind quarter and dark mark above pup's head (see images). Very small chip to mother dog's nose and possibly to right ear. Small chip to another pup's ear. Mirror inside is becoming de-silvered. General small signs of wear and tear. Small loss to the enamel to the base near the edge (see images).
