Lot 1543

A George III mahogany tallboy, with moulded cornice above three short and three long drawers to the upper section, the base fitted with three further drawers and all raised on bracket feet. Width 105 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The tallboy is in structurally good condition. The cornice has had repairs to the top right and top left-hand corners. There are also numerous patches to the veneers between the drawer runners. The top right-hand drawer has a veneer stress fracture. Drawer two has a patch to the bottom left-hand corner. Drawer three has an old stress fracture. Drawer four has a repair to the top left-hand corner and a loss to the bottom left-hand corner. The base has also had veneer repairs between the drawers. All drawers have had small repairs and the bottom left hand drawer has a section of beading missing on the top left-hand edge. The bracket feet have all had repairs and veneer replacements. The sides of the piece have the usual stress fractures and marks

A 19th century oil painting on canvas, two young girls and musician in Classical garden. 34 cm x 25 cm, framed. CONDITION REPORT: There are two small holes in the canvas which should be evident from our images. The canvas also has a rear patch and small repair. There is some overpainting which corresponds with the patch. Other than this and the two holes the painting it is in reasonably good condition. The traditional frame is in fairly good order with only minor nibbles and losses as one would expect.

Col. rank insignia, the collar bears crowned thistle spray to each side (non matching); each arm bears printed “ROYAL ARTILLERY” title, 96th AGRA embroidered formation sign (red over blue rectangle bearing Liver Building on waves) and vertical Forbes tartan patch. Medal ribbons comprise 1939-45 Star, France & Germany Star, Defence Medal, War Medal and Territorial Decoration. VGCAttributed by vendor to to Lt.Col. Lot 29

A Victorian mahogany bow-fronted chest of two short over three long drawers, raised on turned feet, width 107cm, height 103cm, depth 56cm. CONDITION REPORT Overall clean condition, this chest shows signs of recently benefiting frm a polish, leaving only minor signs of use, most notably to the middle long drawer, where there is a patch of staining and some minor scuffs and scrapes. There is a further mark to the lower drawer. The carcass shows signs of patch repair and fill and dark stain, mostly to the drawer dividers. There is some very light surface scuffing to the top edge. The right hand side of the top beading has split and is showing a slight mark. The back right corner of the top has had a small patch repair and the line of the repair is visible. The right hand side has a small crack rising from the lower edge of the board with an old scuff which has been polished in above it and further other polished in marks to the same side. There are also further patch repairs to the left hand side and lined of filler visible to the beading edge of the top. Despite all of the above mentioned damage, it sits as a very pleasing piece.

An antique and later carved box seat settle, the back profusely carved with coat of arms and central panel depicting a hunting scene entitled 'Castor and Pollyx Hunting ye Deer', further inscribed 'Charles and Dorothea Halina Stanley, above coat of arms and inscribed to the lower frieze '1663 Drede God and Honour thy Kynge', the uppermost pillars inscribed 'Chs 2D Rex' (Charles II), believed to have come from the Earl of Derby's Estate at Knowsley Hall, width 103cm, height 145cm, depth 49cm. CONDITION REPORT Overall good but used condition with fading to the stain in the high-traffic areas, most prominently the arms and the bench seat. The bench seat has been replaced and is stained pine. The arms and the arm supports are more than likely later additions or replacements. The carved panel back has a split through the lower coat of arms and has a small patch repair to the upper right pillar. There is a hole just below the hunting scene, although it is most likely to be a knot which has come out of the timber. Rear left leg shows signs of old woodworm damage and the lower most stretcher is coming away from the upright slightly on the front right leg. There is a very small chip to the top rail. The cow has typical small losse to the bocage and a few overglazed firing cracks.

Rice collection of Derby porcelain.The pair of figures have losses to the bocage, minor firing cracks. The ram has a loose shard rattling around inside. The lowing ewe has restoration to both ears, its rear left hoof and tail. The inscribed ram has restoration to the top of the stump behind the figure and to the front of the base.

This dark aqua and yellow jacket with white reflective elements features a zip-up front with Velcro details as well as a "ROCKY MOUNTAIN PARK RESCUE" patch on the left arm. Made of nylon and Spandex, it features a nametag reading "H. Tucker" (Another character who wears a similar jacket) and a tag on the interior collar marked "RON," presumably for climbing double Ron Kauk, and "JESSIE." Armstrong", a Gemini 8 patch, a NASA patch, a United States flag arm patch, a small prop pressure gauge with a printed decal face, four leg pockets, a metal zipper running down the back and between the legs, zipper enclosures near the wrists, and blue and red functional metal wrist rings that secure the white and yellow blended-fabric gloves. A Nazi standard from Steven Spielberg's adventure film Raiders of the Lost Ark. Nazi soldiers carried the standard when they transported the Ark to be opened toward the end of the film.The standard is made of resin and has been carved to depict an eagle symbol. On either side of the swastika are German words that read Deutschland Uber Alles,which translated, means "Germany above all."The piece has been painted in shades of gray and silver to depict authentic metal materials. It has chips of paint missing throughout, including a small blank patch at the bottom from adhering to the standard pole. A small drill hole also remains on the back center of the eagle from securing to the pole. The piece remains in very good overall condition. Walter Donovan's (Julian Glover) jacket from Steven Spielberg's adventure sequel Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Donovan wore his gray jacket at the end of the film when he forced Indy (Harrison Ford) to retrieve the Holy Grail. The bespoke gray button-up jacket is made of cotton, features four patch pockets at the front, and includes a belt. Inside the jacket is a hand-stitched production label from Bermans and Nathans that reads "Indiana Jones Julian Glover". Also included for display purposes are a black dress shirt and a silk tie which features gray diagonal stripes. The lot is in good overall condition with minor wear from production and age, including small spot stains to the jacket and wrinkles to the tie where it was previously tied.Estimate: $1,500 - 2,500

In the episode "The Man Behind the Curtain" (320), Dharma Initiative members wore jumpsuits labeled with their names and professions.The lot consists of a beige cotton jumpsuit with "Derek" and "Security" embroidered and a Dharma Security star patch emblazoned on the left breast, as well as two cotton Dharma-branded hats, an olive green hat emblazoned with a Security patch, and a blue hat emblazoned with a Dharma Motor Pool wrench patch. Freeman Lowell's (Bruce Dern) hero costume from Douglas Trumbull's sci-fi drama Silent Running. Inside a series of geodesic domes on the Valley Forge spaceship, lonely botanist Lowell watched over the last plant life in the galaxy until he was to destroy it and return home.This light blue synthetic nylon zip-up Bogner jumpsuit has ribbed texture throughout and a white polyester lining. It features a pair of zip-up breast pockets and is affixed throughout with 23 patches. One arm features a Valley Forge crew patch, an American Flag patch, and an American Airlines patch. The remainder of the patches throughout the jumpsuit are a combination of specific mountains and general outdoor-themed including one for the Grand Canyon and one for Smokey The Bear. This is one of two Lowell costumes made for filming and is the primary costume worn throughout the film, the other was utilized specifically for the leg-surgery scene. This lot is in excellent overall condition with some wear from production, including some staining, pink discoloration on the interior lining of one leg and slight damage to one of the pocket zippers. It features blue piping along the neck, a zipper front, elastic stirrups on the pant legs, and a Velcro patch for attaching the combadge. Inside the uniform is a label with the numbers "42" and "#240" handwritten on it. In the year 2029, Resistance soldiers battled against Skynet's machines in the rubble of post-Judgment Day Los Angeles.The uniform consists of a dark gray, cotton-blend jumpsuit with an elastic waist, zip-front, collar snap, various pockets throughout, and a sewn-on patch reading "L NF-54-863." Attached to the jumpsuit is a section of ribbed nylon-blend padding that covers the right chest, left shoulder, and wraps around the collar with a Velcro fastening. The metal helmet is painted dark gray to match the uniform, and features added details such as knobs and switches, a padded interior, a microphone with a long audio plug, and a pair of prop night-vision goggles on adjustable arms that allow them to be raised and lowered. Inside the helmet is a piece of tape with the number "8" handwritten on it and labels including one listing the month and year as "NOV 1990." Iron Sky (2012) A boy's German school uniform costume worn in the production of the irreverent science fiction action-comedy. This costume and others like it can be seen being worn by school boys as they are indoctrinated with German propaganda in the classroom on the far side of the moon. The costume consists of a brown shirt (size 15 1/2) complete with black epaulettes and a triangular German patch on the left arm, swastika armband, black shorts (size 34 9-10 years), grey socks and a black neckerchief with a brown leather woven rings. There is deliberate distressing to the entire costume, which would have been added for scenes after the Moon is attacked by Earth. Distressed for use in the production.
