A Chinese tea bowl and saucer, circa 1760, decorated en grisaille, with the fishing lady pattern and two tea bowls decorated flowers and insects/see illustration Condition Report: The saucer has some small rim chips, the largest of which has a tiny associated hairline crack. Rubbing to gilt edge and a patch of black enamel near the fish basket, chipping to footrim. The matching tea bowl has a couple of tiny nicks to the rim. The two tea bowls are in lovely condition, no damage.

Overall condition is generally good considering age.

One old repaired tear. Oil on canvas which is unlined with artist's suppliers stamp on the reverse of the canvas for Winsor and Newton. There is patch at the lower left corner (seen from the reverse) securing an old damage which has been filled and retouched from the front. Paint layer in good condition overall. Varnish is even and glossy. Frame in good condition.

A beautiful pair of Chinese framed silk work 'bird panels,' 19th Century Each on a pale ground detailed and intricately worked and embroidered wih swallow, set with inlaid mother of pearl and metalwork frames, 48cm x 59cm. British Commonwealth formation, African, 81st (West African) Divisional Patch. The divisional commander, General Woolner, chose the black spider design, which represented 'Gizzo' or 'Anase', a figure in Ashanti mythology who could overcome his enemies through guile.
