A COMPLETE MILITARY ARCHIVE FOR A DOCTOR WHO SERVED IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR IN THE GERMAN 3RD REICH 'FEUERSHUTZPOLIZEI' FIRE PROTECTION POLICE, Dr. Hans Reindel, consisting of his full uniform, including tunic, trousers, boots, side cap, steel helmet, gas mask in original metal tube carry container, a leather case containing tools and instruments etc, also paperwork in the form of 'Die Deutfche Arbeitsfront' the German Labour/Work Front, Members book with photo of Reindel, together with all pay stamps for his service during WWII, all original, together with a number of photographs of Reindel in uniform & on horseback, dealing firstly with the uniform jacket, it is complete with shoulder & collar boards, also has an original arm patch, together with original black whistle and chain and the following two badges, 'S.A.' badge with very faint Oberstein makers mark present, 'D.R.L.' badge, no makers mark but believed to be fully original, the uniform trousers match the jacket and the 'Side Cap' is matching also, the gas mask is complete in its metal carrying container, maker 'AUER' RL1-38/3, handpainted on the side is ARZT, REINDEL, the steel helmet is the Civic square dip design and is complete with strap and inner liner, a white cross on a red circle is painted to the left side, inside is handpainted ARZT. REINDEL. Feuershutzpolizei, also present is a green coloured canvas bag believed to be German also a pair of leather boots, shows signs of wear etc, also a brown coloured leather case containing a Field dressing bacalite container with bandages, scissors, instruction book(German) etc, leather hinge is missing, taken all together this lot represents a fine archive to a German Doctor
