9th Queen's Lancers Victorian Officer's Shabracque / Horse Saddle Cloth Blue cloth with rounded corners, edged with a double row of gold "Bias and stand" lace, the forecorners bearing the VR cypher in gold embroidery. In the hindcorners a crown above VR within a strap embroidered NINTH LANCERS in gold on blue velvet, superimposed on crossed lances. The item has been re-cut, removing the central element, and the lace edging re-applied with machine-stitching. The lining now of buff cotton, inscribed WC Clayton 9th Lancers in manuscript on a moleskin patch evidently cut from the original lining. The embroidered ornaments somewhat frayed William Clayton Clayton was a Captain in the 9th Lancers in 1867
Royal Welsh Fusiliers Victorian Attributed Officer's Fur Cap. A fine and scarce example attributed to Colonel The Hon. Reginald Henry Bertie. Black bearskin, to the front a gilt flaming grenade, the ball mounted with silvered Prince of Wales's plumes. The interior with wicker frame complete with leather lining and leather backed graduated gilt chin chain. The overall condition is good and retains a good shape. Please note there's a bald patch to the right of the grenade, however this is covered when the fur is combed ... Accompanied by original metal storage tin, this retaining engraved brass name plate "Honble R. Bertie 23rd R.W. Fusiliers"
Westminster Dragoons Undress and Mess Uniform. A very rare late example of the red "frock". The jacket of massive coarse scarlet serge, with collar and cuffs of fine purple cloth. Subsequently professionally fitted with large gilt collar-badges (Victorian crown above a star, with white metal lyre in centre), possibly for use by a Bandmaster, and plain brass half-ball buttons. Patch breast pockets, gauntlet cuffs and shoulder-chains. Minor moth, otherwise GC ... SNCO's scarlet mess jacket with upright collar of purple cloth bearing fine large gilding metal regimental collar-badges. Purple gauntlet cuffs. The jacket edged all round with 1-inch gold "Bias-&-Stand" lace, forming bull's eyes at the back. Rank-badges and sleeve-linings absent ... with its companion waistcoat, of officer-quality purple cloth, edged all round, and on pocket-openings, with gold Russia braid. Gilt studs to front. Braid frayed along top edge, otherwise GC. (3 items)

A good scarce double sided example of red cloth bearing embroidered NSKK eagle and swastika emblem to both sides as well as black unit patch with white embroidered 9/M86.. Complete with spring clip and rope. Minor service wear, generally VGC. National Socialist Motor Corps
German Third Reich Red Cross Man's hewer and frog. A good example with sawback blade impressed "Ges. Gesch". Nickel plated mounts with oval on crossguard bearing eagle and swastika with Geneva cross. Two piece Bakelite grip, the front section of chequered design, the reverse plain. Housed in its black painted scabbard with nickel plated throat and chape ; complete with black leather frog impressed 51. Minor service wear. Small patch of rust to reverse of scabbard. Overall VGC. Introduced in February 1938 and discontinued in 1940.
German Third Reich Waffen SS field grey tunic. A good clean example of the four pleated pocket, six button fronted army issue tunic. SS Sigrunen collar patch to one side, the other removed; arm with BeVo SS sleeve eagle and aluminium chevron on black. Breast pocket with provision for two awards on central pleat and one other; provision for medal bar. Partial lining stamped in black "H41" and "39 41" over "92" over "67 56" with stamped name on field dressing pocket. Provision for shoulder straps (not present). VGC

DOUBLE-CASED 14 BORE DOUBLE BARREL PERCUSSION SPORTING GUN, BY JOHN MANTON AND SON, LONDON signed on the top rib of the browned Damascus barrels JOHN MANTON AND SON/ 6 DOVER STREET/ PICCADILLY LONDON, with gunmaker's view and proof marks and signed locks, with a figured walnut half stock and original ramrod, with accessories including two tin powder flasks, two leather shot flasks, a leather cased nipple wrench, a patch cutter, a bullet mould, a cap dispenser and a cleaning rod, enclosed in a two-tier brass mounted mahogany case with an engraved crest, on a later painted wood stand barrels 74cm long Note: John Manton was the most renowned of London gunmakers from the end of the 18th century until his death in 1834 he had no rival.

AN 18 BORE GERMAN FLINTLOCK SPORTING RIFLE, CIRCA 1750 with octagonal swamped sighted barrel rifled with seven grooves, inscribed '96' and signed 'Johann Waas In Bamberg' over the breech, tang numbered '1', bevelled lock signed 'Mathias Karch a Hechingen' (inoperative), double set trigger, figured walnut full stock carved with scrolls about the tang, the butt with raised cheek-piece on the left and patch-box with sliding cover on the right (cracks), engraved iron mounts including solid side-plate decorated with a hunter taking aim at a stag, trigger-guard and butt-plate each decorated with scrolls enclosing a portrait bust, (fore-end cap missing) and horn-tipped ramrod 74.5 cm; 29 3/8 in barrel Mathias Karch is recorded in Hechingen, Württemberg, circa 1730-90.

Two 1950s dresses. A Frank Usher patterned full skirt strapless sun dress. Garment has boned and ruched bodice and features a half belt and buckle at the back. The skirt has short starched under panels at the hip to accentuate the full gathered skirt, approximate size 8. A further pink corduroy shirtwaister dress with two oversize patch pockets at each side, approximate size 10 (2)
