An 18th Century oak, ash and elm country chair with solid vase shaped splat on turned legs CONDITION REPORTS Overall with wear and scuffs, various splits, cracks and patch repairs, new screws, nails, etc. Chair may be an amalgamation of two or more chairs as appears to have various alterations and repairs, and screw fittings to arms where they meet the back and where arms meet seat, and large gouge to upright to back which appears to have been coloured in to match and the arm at this point fits into the gouged area (this may or may not have been original to the chair).
