A William III Britannia standard silver West country ribbed rattail Trefid spoon by John Cove of Bristol, London 1697. Length 19.7cm. wt. 52gm. CONDITION REPORT: Good condition. Maker and date letter marks good, others part rubbed . signs of solder patch within bowl, not visible on reverse, possibly original. Some redressing of bowl.
Two Russian parcel-gilt silver charki, one with untraced mark, apparently a Slavonic year mark (?) being initials LV in old alphabet within a bordered circle, the other struck twice with double-headed eagle mark for Moscow, both marked at back of handle, one circa 1700, chased to interior with flowers centred by a bird, the other circa 1681/82, chased with flowers and beads centred by a lobster, both with pierced foliate handles, 8.7 cm. and 9.6 cm. diameter, wt. 85 gm. CONDITION REPORT: For similar example see "Russian Gold & Silver" by Alexander von Solodkoff, photo 10. Overall good condition, gilding intact, the lobster example has a file mark to foot rim behind which is a small silver patch inside the foot rim, pretty minor.

Miniature tartanware 'Edinburgh Castle Forty-Second' snuff box, 3cm, together with three rectangular tartanware snuff boxes, largest 10.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Small square box: base slightly scuffed particularly at corners and some loss of tartan areas at corners and ridges. Losses at back ridge of top, nibbles to edge of picture, some losses to surface lacquer, just intruding into pictures. Quite clean interior. Small red tartan box: top very worn, major losses to tartan, edges much better, some dints, small losses particularly to corners/ridges, base scratched/worn, wear to interior. Lacquered box: lid dull, some areas of wear, particularly to red tartan, craquelure to image, some wear to edges, two carcks on right edge from rim, around half way down, bruise to bottom right front edge. Slight scratches to base, brighter condition, wear to inside. Dark tartan box: overal slightly dull, lid has slight wear, rubbed patch on right hand side, finger print area, damage to lacquer oval shaped on left hand side around 1cm x 1.1cm and another area as if something has spilt on it above from clasp. Sides rather dull, some slight scratching, bottom slightly scratched, even wear, clean inside. Possibly relacquered at some point??

A Steiff Zotty bear 1950’s the brown and cream mohair bear with brown glass eyes and stitched nose, open felt lined mouth, swivel head and jointed at shoulders and hips, with felt paw pads and growler, button in left ear, mohair good, bald patch to left side, 19” (49cm) tall, together with Steiff ‘Mungo’ monkey, fish, dog and a Merrythought donkey, (5 items).

Four Staffordshire pottery pastille burners in the form of castles and a cottage and a small Stafforshire flatback of a house, 12.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: Castle one (red door) - 10cm high. Back of round turret chipped. Glaze crazed. Brown staining, especially to the reverse. Wear to gilding. Castle two (white door) - 10.5cm high. Foot chipped. Gilding worn. Firing crack to one turret, two hairline cracks, indistinct impressed mark to the base, smallest turret chipped, some wear to maroon enamel. Castle three (smallest with orange door) 7cm high and double-sided. Some small areas of brown staining on raised areas and edges. Cottage - 10.25cm high. Some of the flowers around the doorway have small chips. Gilding worn in places. Some very minor flaking to the enamel on the 'grass' below the windows. House - 12.5cm high. Central chimney lacking top. Top of one turret broken and re-glued. Glaze heavily crazed. Minor wear to gilding. Small chip to base. Small patch of wear to the glaze at the back.
CIRCA 1900 JUDGES FROCK COAT, WAISTCOAT AND BREECHES. A frock coat, waistcoat and breeches made from wool and worn by a Judge serving in India during the the British Raj period. 'Name taped Justice Blacker' in the pocket of the waistcoat. The Breeches have wooden buttons at the back for braces, diamante buckles at the knee. An eye patch in the pocket! Waist 42". (3)

CONDITION REPORT: Mended rip to left of face and continuing into body, easily visible and can be seen in the online catalogue image. Mark to background above head and tiny marks to lower right. Other restoration patch to right of head and to left of body.
