An English enamel bonbonnière, c.1770, modelled as a cat recumbent on a blue cushion, its coat decorated with patches of brown and black, the cover with a simple flower spray, and a Continental enamel patch box, decorated with a bearded saint kneeling beneath a tree and looking up, the sides with gilt foliate scrolls on black, minor damages, 4cm max. Four enamel patch boxes, c.1770-90, of oval form, one printed with a view of Salisbury cathedral, one inscribed 'A Trifle from Norwich', another 'A Trifle from Yarmouth', the last with a blue panel inscribed 'Esteem the Giver', the bases variously coloured pink, green and blue, some damages, 4.3cm max. An early 20thC sterling silver patch box, of circular form with a tooled exterior banding, thumb mould handle and plain interior, marked 925, 4cm diameter, a George VI silver caddy spoon by E J Houlston, a further continental caddy spoon and a preserve spoon with entwined handle and shaped end, 1.5oz all in (4).

A mid 19th century turquoise and ruby St Esprit brooch, circa 1850, set with circular cabochon rubies and vari cut rubies, 3cm long; and a late 19th century and later turquoise, ruby, diamond and pearl foliate brooch, 7.3cm long, 18.6g gross Condition Report: St Esprit brooch- One very small turquoise at the neck has been replaced, small patch of glue visible, some slight discolouration to turquoise commensurate with age the rubies are all present and correct and bright. There would have originally been a drop suspended from the doves beak- there is a small vacant hole. The brooch fitting is later. The setting is unmarked, but is in our opinion gold. Floral spray brooch- The brooch has possibly been made using components from other pieces, but well matched, there is some lead solder visible to the stalk where the wire supports have been attached, the main flowerhead has a replaced/repaired petal, noticeable from the reverse. All stones present and correct, some typical discolouration to the turquoise from age.Condition Report Disclaimer

Two patches of replacement veneer to the top, stain to top, looks like a patch to top front leg and possible split / repair to back right leg. Game.- Wallis (Edward, publisher) Wallis's New Game of Wanderers in the Wilderness, folding hand-coloured aquatint pictorial map of South America with pictorial cartouche of tiger, snakes, parrot, monkey and alligator by J.H.Banks, dissected and mounted on linen, c.680 x 515mm., lightly soiled, one or two small stains, split to linen between two sections, with the very rare booklet of rules and descriptions, original printed pink wrappers, slightly soiled and faded at edges, together in original embossed cloth slip-case, upper cover titled and with decorations in gilt, rubbed and a little faded, small stain and worn patch to upper cover, [Whitehouse p.16], small 4to, [c.1844].⁂ Charming game depicting scenes, geography, flora & fauna of South America including a jaguar, tapir, anacondas, llamas, condor, rhea, whales, collecting juice from an agave tree, washing margin diamonds in troughs, panning gold, a gaucho lassooing wild cattle, the towns of Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Valparaiso, Lima & Quito, and Alexander Selkirk (Robinson Crusoe) on the island of Juan Fernandez. It is a companion game to Wallis's Game of the Star-Spangled Banner, or Emigrants to the United States of c.1842, a copy of which was sold in these rooms in November 2019 (lot 275). Library Hub records 3 UK copies of the present game (BL, Cambridge and Oxford) but only the British Library copy is complete with the rules booklet."No.22. A Victorian burr walnut oval loo table on carved quadruped base together with a set of eight spoon back dining chairs in the Louis XVI manner and a pair of Louis XVI style chairs Size approx. 128cm high x 70cm high x 94cm deep CONDITION REPORTS Table approx 69cm h x 128cm l x 93cm w Large lozenge shaped patch to the centre of the table, various other areas of wear and tear conduicive with age and use. Walnut to the top slightly faded to a more honey colour. The frieze has several areas of cracking to the veneers - see images. Th epiece does tilt. top appears ot be original to base though this is not guaranteedit certainly fits well and looks original. The base has certain signs of wear and tear again conducive with age and use including some old woodwomr holes and nibbling to the ends of the feet. The clip to the underside has oxidisation and is very dirty arguable in need of sympoathetic restoration though does appear to work - see images for futher details.
