Egg, Gun Maker To His Majesty, No. 1 Pall Mall. The conversion on these guns was probably undertaken by D. Egg and refinished at that time. These guns were probably made by T.J. Mortimer, for a pocket pistol with almost identical butt configuration see plate 241 in The Mortimer Gunmakers 1753-1923, Munson
