A pair of 18 bore percussion duelling/target pistols by Lowe, Chester, with slightly swamped sighted octagonal barrels, barrel length approx 25cm, gold lined at breech, platinum plugs, signed border and foliate scroll engraved bolted locks, set triggers, half-stocked with chequered and carved butts, engraved steel furniture, white metal fore end caps and escutcheons (one action and set triggers inoperative, metal surface pitting, stocks have some chipping and denting, rammers missing), contained in a fitted green baize lined mahogany case with Williams & Powell trade label (case lining mothed, compartment lids missing), together with an embossed copper pistol flask by Dixon.
